You're pretty much where I am with this. Come this Sunday I'd go with Watson. Over the long haul I'd go with Baker. Neither have been in the league long enough to say for sure of their end results. However, I do think Baker has progressed quicker than Watson did.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Just an impression based on what I have seen. It seems BM is working through his game every play, every week, and he is trying it on for size and evaluating the play and looking to see how well it works for him as it plays out. He seems very focused overall, and I think he is working through a number of reads, skills, adjustments as a player and observer. He has been awfully good so far, but I think it will get better if we can keep him healthy. Seems to be a polished and methodical process. FWIW. Certainly nothing I saw in any QB last season.

It is OK to go win some more.

Health is why i would choose bake ... that and hes more accurate ...

Watsons not gonna last ... and that would SUCK IMO ...

Hes good ... i was wrong about him ... hes not what i would call accurate ... but hes accurate enough ...

He’s a MUCH MORE accurate version of RG3 and even Vick ... hes gotta learn when to put his dick away and SLIDE ...

he needs to be like MITCH ... in that Mitch runs like 12 times a game and HARDLY EVER to NEVER gets hit ... last game ... he ran ... not exxagrating .. at least 8 times .. MINIMMUM .. not sure he ever went out of bounds ... so 8 times he could have been hit ... he was HOT ONCE ... and that was a PENALTY for a late hit ... he slid late and it was more of a roll ...

Its health and i love Bakes style of qb play ALOT MORE ... Brees may be my 2nd fav qb behind IMO the GOAT JOE MONTANA ...

Brains, accuracy ... my two favorite traits ... Payton and Marino are right there behind them ... thumbsup

glad I'm not the only one in this board that still thinks Montana is the best ever.

Montana was a product of Walsh's system, he wasn't really all that good on his own.

Messing with the playoff machine, I've got us playing Houston as the 6th seed in the playoffs.

Go Browns!

watson and baker would be a tough call for me. i'd probably lean baker, but slightly

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I love Baker Mayfield. He hasn't even played half a season. It's Watson everytime at this point. Ask me again a year from now and I might have a different answer.

He's gotten better at running since the cowboys game... I wasn't sure he was gonna to make it through that one and he ended up really banged up...

He still will have one run a game where he doesn't slide but he hasn't taken many hits since the cowboys game

Completely agree though thwt I fear he will continue to be a huge injury risk if he runs a lot

Is the boys game the one i gave my examples from? ..

I was beside myself when Billy called the pure QB sweep at the goalie after watching what happenend the series before ...

I sure hope your right ... i dont remember him sliding much Monday night but you’d know better than me ... thumbsup

Only time i recall he kinda tried to slide late and got whacked again ...

A lot of people anointed Watson God last year.

Houston has only scored more than 23 points 3 times this season, Browns have done it 4 times. Watson 20 TD in 11 games, Baker 17 TD in 9 games. Considering the weapons that's not too shabby.

Baker would be disappointed in some of the posts here. I think he's going to surprise some of you this week.
