Goddell set the precedent with Ray Rice. This scum clearly struck that woman, when she was down. It'll be interesting to see what Goddell does here, with a team on a super bowl run, will he suspend him indefinitely?

Star athletes get coddled. They begin to think they are above the law. All celeb's do, really. They've got fame, money, and think their wish is other's desire.

And, they have hangers ons - those that back them regardless. And, they have those that 'wanna be' hangers on.

Some think that, being wealthy, and a 'celebrity' makes them immune.

The other side is, it's not just the rich and wealthy that abuse. This kind of stuff, sadly, happens every day.

You won't believe the Chief fans sticking up for Hunt and minimizing what happened. I know damn well that most of us wouldn't tolerate that from a Brown's player.

Kudos to the Chiefs for doing the right thing. It's one thing to make an example out of some has-been, quite another to apply that standard to a very talented young player while barely hanging onto first place. They deserve credit. Some things are more important than football.
