What’s sad is that he only falls short not because he has moral integrity, but because he can’t get away with it.

If this was Russia, a bunch of journalists at CNN would be dead already.

anybody seeing the comments from the senators coming out?

they got the CIA briefing...and are blasting the administration. both republicans and democrats.

graham just said he no longer supports the arm sales to the saudis, no longer supports the war in yemen, and said there's no smoking gun, there's a smoking saw, and that the crown prince is complicit in murder.

The CIA knew this but Trump lied and said they didn't. Nothing new there.

its just so painfully sad that trump doesn't care about our moral standing around the world. just gonna let this fly because of his business ties and arms deals?

this is pathetic man. this is why people around the world are losing whatever trust they had left with the US.

we just cant be trusted to do the right thing when it comes to foreign policy.

Actually it's been that way for a while when it comes to a lot of our foreign policy, it's just that we haven't had someone like Individual 1 to go out and show how absurd it actually is.

i agree, but what i was saying is that atleats the US tried to have the right intentions with foreign policy, regardless on how much of a trainwreck our decisions turned out to be.

like for me, i can't really see any other president trying to brush this under the rug cause he has money deals with the country in question.

we're at a point where we have to seriously consider that individual 1 is thinking about his personal dealings with how his response has been to this situation.

Oh I've never seen a president who allows his business dealings control American policy so after he's no longer president it benefits himself.

I have a hard time believing that the Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman (aka: MbS), had this reporter murdered without confiding in "someone" who could give some insight into the ramifications of such an event.

The murder was planned and who MbS may have sought help from or who he may have sought the opinion of, is unknown as far as we know.

Who might mbs seek the help from?

I can think of a couple of people who might be willing to help mbs plan the murder of a reporter...

Nah ... we are at a point that all trump supporters believe all the lies he tells and his America first policy isn’t actually the trump first policy. The only way out is a continuation of the blue wave in 2020

It's probably too much to hope for but maybe this is the point where the GOP grows a spine and doesn't simply tow the Trump line. What's embarrassing is that you have an ex-director of the CIA plainly and willfully lying on this matter to pander to Trump.

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham told reporters, "You have to be willfully blind not to come to the conclusion that this was orchestrated and organised by people under the command of MBS."

Corker added that the prince "ordered, monitored, the killing" of the father of four.
"If he were in front of a jury, he would be convicted of murder in about 30 minutes," Corker said.

And then you have the Trump stooges that fall in line and excuse and enable this. Another black eye for the USA because of Trump.

The more things change the more they stay the same.
