The trick is to find another model to be made in places like Lordstown. That plant closing will basically kill that area.

by the way, if you haven't ever toured that facility, I gotta tell you, it's freaky amazing. Something like 6 million square feet of manufacturing space.

Last I heard it was a very well maintained plant so you'd think someone would want it for something.

There have been no signs of confirmation out of Beijing.

No real deal was announced with China-and the investors don't think that a deal can get done in 3 months. They didn't even know if it was 3 months from December 1st or Jan 1st for the extension.

The market was up 600 plus one day last week and it wasn't even really a good thing. The fed didn't wait until their 12/19 meeting to say that they are more dovish and think that the rate hikes will be slowing and the economy expansion is now near neutral-that the economy is slowing and many additional hikes are not needed.

Wait until they figure out Trump has bankrupted the country.

also, another minor factor is the individual 1 administration recommending USPS raise their rates today, ticking off a ton of retailers.

A other day a guy in a Honda dropped off a package to me that came from amazon. Then this morning a guy driving a uhaul truck dropped off another amazon delivery.

this is the problem. trump is using the government to fight his personal grudges.

amazon was already on their way to having their own delivery system. this current policy might have just sealed USPS fate.

The important thing today is not the first half but the second half of the day.

From what I saw briefly - UK markets crashed overnight which dragged the DOW down so I actually think without that, we'd be in the positive for the week. Hoping that it happens. Personally I am more vested in the NASDAQ.... that hurts or helps more than how the DOW trends.

The morning was bad and I knew it would be because the machines were continuing their Tuesday sell signal.

If the market is coming back into the close, this will mean investors see good buys at discount prices.

The machines can turn on a dime, this is why it is not wise to try to pick bottoms or tops because by the time people realize the market has bottomed, it will be up 10 percent already.

I have been buying this morning while the world panics.

I picked up Amazon last week at 1500. Today it is down to 1665.
