About time the Rams quit screwing around and gave the ball to Gurley but it's probably too late.

where's bone at.

Chicago D is straight up nasty.
Watson is way better than Trubisky. I actually don't think Trubisky is very good. Even Collinsworth was calling him a one read QB on the broadcast.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

All of a sudden Rams and KC look vulnerable.
Playoffs should be fun.

Goff looks like garbage tonight. I know Chi has a good D, but he looks off tonight. Happy Trubisky isn’t our QB!

I think Jeff Fisher must have been coaching Goff tonight. What a putrid performance.

Trubisky has a slowish windup.

Chicago and LA was a defensive turnover fest ... so much for both coaches being the offensive gurus
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

--New England blew it by setting up a dumb coverage at the end of the game. Why have Gronk back there. Miami couldn't have thrown a Hail Mary and Gronk has a bad wheels. Stupid. But, it was exciting.
All good points you made Vers, as usual. But this one sticks out in my mind. This was a stupid move. Why not get someone who can move back there? Gordon? Dion Lewis? Isn't Cordelle Patterson on NE now? They lost because their last line of defense was a large, plodding, lumbering TE. I think he was back there so that the mythology of Gronk could get another tale. Stupid choice, they deserved to lose.

Maybe Gronk was back there in case it was a hail Mary?

Maybe Gronk was back there in case it was a hail Mary? He was .. Tannehill has an arm problem .. he couldn't make a throw to the end zone.

I believe the Dolphins were 68 or 69 yards away from the end zone. Factor in that the qb has to drop back, there would be no way that Tannehill could make that throw. Hell, I don't know if anyone is going to throw it over 80 yards in the air in a live game.
Also, Cap made a good point. Even if you thought that they would try a Hail Mary, Gordon or Patterson would have been much better choices.
It was a really dumb decision by the Pats. But, I loved it. LOL

The Rams have always had trouble winning in cold weather especially in the playoffs and I'm going back to the late 60's. They showed it again last night. Another team that's similar is the Chargers. If either has to play in cold/bad weather I doubt they will make the SB.

It was a dumb decision but I enjoyed it too. It's not because I dislike the Pats I just enjoy listening to all the crying and complaining about them on local sports radio being that I live in Pats country. They couldn't say enough about the Kareem Hunt story when it broke because they felt it weakened the Pats toughest opponent to the #1 seed and the SB. Well we'll see what happens. Time will tell.

I agree. The only saving grace for the Rams is that they have a 2 game lead on Chicago and the other probable NFC teams play in domed stadiums. Seattle doesn't, but they are 3 full games behind the Rams.
The AFC is a different story. If the Chargers lose to KC next week, they will almost certainly have to play in cold weather playoff games. If they beat the Chiefs, things could get very interesting.

strange that we both had such awful losses at the same place

Trubisky has a slowish windup. Locks onto his primary read too.

I know this should be more or so on the upcoming Broncos thread...
But Bradley Chubb broke Von Millers rc record yesterday and now has 12 sacks...
Von looked really active too...
We have to jump out to a nice lead, to lower their usage of Lindsay at RB...as they were in catch up mode and Royce actually outgained Lindsay

So, who would y’all rather have.
Russell Wilson, or Kirk Cousins? Monday night matchup.

I played a Single Game DFF contest for tonight's game. I prefer Wilson because Seattle is at home and that team is on a roll. I also think he is more "clutch" than Cousins.
He costs more than Cousins and I'm having a hard time making a lineup work.
I will say this is a big game for both teams. Lose and you might be done. Win and things are looking pretty good. Weather shouldn't be too much of a factor. 13% chance of rain at kickoff. Mid 40s for the temp. Winds around 6-8 MPH.
You know the Seattle crowd will be going crazy.

Yea, Wilson at home. He’s definitely clutch too. And for some reason, cousins isn’t doing what I thought he would do on the Vikings.

I like Cousins and Wilson. I like Cousins more as I like Diggs and Thielen better than anyone on the Seahawks roster.
The more things change the more they stay the same.
