Baltimore Ravens
Cincinnati Bengals
Pittsburgh Steelers
Buffalo Bills
Miami Dolphins
Los Angeles Rams
Seattle Seahawks

Away
San Francisco 49ers
Pittsburgh Steelers
New York Jets
New England Patriots
Cincinnati Bengals
Arizona Cardinals
Baltimore Ravens

Thoughts?

Who would you like us to play early and who would you like to play late in the season?

Personally, I'd like to see Pittsburgh last and Cincy third from last and the 49ers very early with AZ and the Jets.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Monday night vs the Ravens. The Bills and Jets games might also get a national audience on a Thursday night.... Promising 2nd year QBs duking it out. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see a total of 3 National games or more with at least one Monday nighter.

I think we got lucky with the home games against the tougher NFC West teams in the Rams and Seahawks ... those games become much more winnable in Cleveland. Away to the 49ers and Zona are winnable.

And finally my money is on a season opener versus Hue and Cinci.

That is only 14 games. We will play teams from the AFC South and AFC West. Based on records it should be the Broncos and Titans. I am not sure which we will get at home and which one on the road.

Thoughts?

I'll be going to the AZ game.

Was hoping that one would be away.

I'll add I don't care about the order or who we play first/last, etc. Our best shot at the playoffs is through the division, and we need to start winning games like yesterday's.

Its so hard to tell, as in the NFL teams are contenders and pretenders literally overnight.

Look, at us, teams like Philly who were left dead in the water - Houston was a mess to start the year and are now a favorite.

I would say that Buffalo @ home is a for sure win, but who knows what kind of leap Allen could make or what kind of playmakers they bring in, etc. Could be a completely different team.

We also have no idea who our coaching staff is going to be.

I honestly do feel that not matter - the North is going to run through Cleveland this year.

No team is a for sure win...

We still cannot beat Pittsburgh

The division does not run through us...yet.

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Even with current rosters, I think we'll push the division and be talking playoffs this time next year. None of those stand out as teams we can't compete with.

I see prime time games against 3 of the the Pats, Hawks, Rams, and Ravens.

There are 2 games not included, they are the optional versions of the rotating division, and would read something like, NFC East, and AFC east, meaning we have a game against a yet to be determined member of one of whichever division.
\
I was trying to look at your list, and make assumptios, I need to see all 16 games.

Interesting that Mayfield will face off against this past year's top QBs from the draft.

Mayfield vs Allen
Mayfield vs Darnold
Mayfield vs Jackson (x2)
Mayfield vs Rosen

Assuming we don't experience a significant setback (or injuries), I could see 9-10 wins there...

The irony for me is that next year was always going to be the big year for the original tear it down plan. By hook or by crook we may actually see a plan come together and I love that as much as the A-team......I hope the off-season and coach choice are aligned with what we are building. Given what Dorsey has done so far I have confidence in a year’s time we’ll be talking about January football.

gone are the days of having 15 1:00 start times and the token Thursday night game

W'll have at least 3 prime time games and 3 4:00 starts IMO

That many "special" games? Wow! So that is what the NFL feels like to the other teams.

This looks like we could improve a good deal next season. Looking forward to it already.

well, let's think about it:

we are at Denver, SF, and AZ (all three have to be 4:00 start times)

we have to be on Thursday night

So, my prediction really is: we will play one MNF game, one SNF game, and one game of the week at 4:25

Thanks. I had a thread about the 19 schedule in the tailgate lot and projected we were headed to Denver. I must have had that information then and didn't remember it this morning.

If I were to guess, we may see Baltimore on a Monday night. The NFL missed the boat on that one sunday. I wouldn't be surprised if it happens week 1. The NFL is captivated by us.

I don't like night games. I volunteer at at the community kitchen on Monday and Thursday afternoons and nights until 9PM.

I don't like missing my hours of service.. Kick the ball at 1PM on Sunday.

No, it's just when it happened, but sure, it wasn't on Sundays at 1PM

I could see the Browns Rams game at home being on Monday night. Baker Mayfield vs Jared Goff on Monday night.

I would love for the Denver game to be in October, just so I know I can get out there to watch it.

Otherwise, I don't care when and who. Line 'em up and we'll be ready.

Would also love to make the drive home to see the Rams/Browns, although that could easily be a Monday night game.
