I’m all for Memphis being allowed to embarrass himself by having a running thread of Rubin Report videos, because it’s hilarious, and there are people here to counter it.
But there is a certain disconnect involved. The board has always touted itself as “family-friendly”, putting rules in place regarding profanity and other things to ensure it. And yet it’s totally fine for Memphis to have a running thread where he’s like “check out this show everyone, it’s got great guests like the “blacks are inferior to whites” guy, the “you should masturbate in front of women who turn you down for sex” guy, the “pedophilia teaches young kids about sex” guy, it’s awesome, here’s some clips!”

Of course Rubin has brought on undesirables. I'll submit he did it more so early on just to get some attention trying to build his youtube channel. Namely, Milo. I think Rubin was successful in that debate. However, he tried to make a stance (without success) with Larry Elder and got owned. He's certainly brought people on I disagree with. There are some things I disagree on with Ben Shapiro, who is a frequent guest **Anything pro-religion is an issue of mine**
But most posters on here, and I'll include you specifically, aren't even watching the videos. I know this because of your post. Personally, it's the platform I enjoy watching, not Rubin. The civil discourse, which is something lost on us, recently. I want more people on his show that I disagree with. But they won't and it is documented. Like Bill Maher always says "I'm a little jealous of conservative guts because they have more guts than the liberals. Liberals won't go on conservative shows; they won't even come on my show sometimes." I'm not even a conservative (although there are some things I agree with) and I found this absolutely true. Rubin isn't a conservative yet people won't go on his show, and I think that is the biggest issue lost in all of this. It's the perfect example to view where politics is going. And the ironic thing is, so many people that are on his show aren't conservative either. People on his program were once self-prescribed liberals running to the right. That's fascinating to me. There are many people willing to talk about these topics on The Rubin Report. The leftists hate it.
