Nothing yet, but I figured we'd need a thread at some point. AB requested a trade.

the coach is too aligned with the QB?
isnt that how it usually is?

I haven't noticed today, but did AB offically ask for one?
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Barrett might be intriguing

More than anything else we need depth, whether that's through signing guys to knock some other guys down the depth chart (Ogbah/Coley types) or signing more guys like Chris Smith. We had a pretty healthy team in 2018 and we can't bank on that happening again next year. Some of this will happen naturally because some of our younger guys, which is basically the whole team, will progress. For example, if Genard Avery takes a step forward then I'd expect he starts opposite Garrett next year (or at the very least plays a ton more snaps on pass rushing downs).

I really enjoyed Avery this year. Quite a load to deal with. Hope we pick some more up like him. We need some designated hitters. Or tacklers, I guess.

Avery will be a nice part of the defense. He's versatile and explosive

Former Hard Knocks’ QB standout Brogan Roback is singing with the Steelers. What songs will he be performing?

I hope he does It's A Grand Old Flag for an encore.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Kid gets a paycheck. Beats the alternative.
He also gets exposure. Maybe he gets a series or 2 in the preseason, and impresses. It's an opportunity, and there aren't a ton of them in the NFL.

I root for the Browns players. Once a player leaves, I don't much care what happens. I root for tOSU, but once a Buckeye is drafted by someone other than the Browns, they are the enemy. I just can't root for players on another team, unless that team is playing the Bengals, Steelers, or Ravens. I always want those 3 teams to lose in embarrassing fashion.

Maybe we can get a part-time gig as proof readers for some of these hacks.
I think the days of really great journalists are over. Guys like Frank Deford, Mitch Albom, Mike Lupica, Red Smith, Dave Anderson, etc are long gone. I didn't like the opinions of some of them, but they certainly could weave an eloquent story.
Today, it's a rush to be the first to get it out on the net and Twitter. The end result is a lot of garbage.

He would take kirksey spot? not a chance... I don't think many OLB's can take his spot that are not locked up in contracts. He is a lot better than this many on this board give him credit. He could probably beat out Collins though. that dude needs to go. he's 50% effort 95% of the time.

With that said, Von Miller is the type of player you give up the house for. He’s also probably not available.

What about Clowney? He may be available. I'll bet he gets franchised. And he's not as good as the others mentioned above (he's still very good). I don't know if he's worth two first rounders.

Yeah, he will probably get franchised. But, Myles and Clowney as bookends is a nice pipe dream.

Clowney and Garrett are a lot alike and they're both monsters. I hesitate to say this, because it's both overly critical and ignores the fact that they are "marked men" every week... but they both seem to disappear for parts of the game. Having them as bookends would leave an offense "defenseless".
Von Miller never disappears... unless he's on his way to the endzone after a strip-sack. Sell the farm lol. (and yes, I know this is probably a pipe-dream)

Definitely a pipe dream, but I think with another step forward Genard Avery can have a legit impact as a pass rusher next year. Supplement him with a substitute who can play the run well and you have a pretty good compliment to Garrett.

What about Clowney? He may be available. I would jump all over that... and I would spend to make it happen. Either of those guys would bookend Myles into the most feared pass-rush combo in the league. Oh, Baby Jeebuz... that's some vewwy scewwy stuff to consider.

I would not want Clowney ... older, injured, expensive. Not questioning his talent, just the intelligence of acquiring/signing him right now.
