New York Giants 8 8 0 (Worse -2) Not an Eli or Coughlin fan.
Washington Redskins 5 11 0 (Push) Defense continues to be a concern.

NFC North
Chicago Bears 13 3 0 (Worse -2) Grossman is inconsistent.
Green Bay Packers 8 8 0 (Better +1) Farve and a better D makes it entertaining, but no miracles
Minnesota Vikings 6 10 0 (Worse -2) A Peterson and T Jackson will know the meaning of 8 in the box.
Detroit Lions 3 13 0 (Better +2) C Johnson and Kitna connect.

NFC South
New Orleans Saints 10 6 0 (push) No 4th place schedule.
Carolina Panthers 8 8 0 (push)

You do realize that there really isn't much of a diffeence between a "1st place" schedule and a "4th place" schedule anymore, right?

NFL schedule are currently set for the next 2 years .... with only 2 "variable" games. For the 2008 and 2009 seasons, 14 of our 16 games are already set.

I don't have time to do the whole list, but I think we are three games better. Ravens could either be +1 or -4, who knows? I think Lewis will age more and McNair too but McNair did pretty well last year for having little time to prepare and their O will be different if IF Mcgahee improves.

I think the Pats are going to really struggle. Probably the 4th game Brady is going to tear an ACL. That's my gut because the football gods don't let you buy a championship.

I think we will actually start the season really strong going at least 2-2 from start. We won't see Brady until the end of the season, imo.

I believe the Bears will get 12 or 13 wins again this season because their defense will keep them in games. They have 6 freebies because of the teams in that sorry division. I do hope that they get spanked in the opener though! LOL JMHO Go Brownies!!!!

We might surprise some more people if A) we catch some luck; B) receivers catch more (and are given chances to shine); and C) injuries, we dodge 'em and others get hurt. Maybe a four or five game swing if we really go after the opponents. Think some around us are a bit weaker. Not sure of our upside because haven't seen us all healthy AND playing well in . . well, ever? we seem stronger, deeper, and faster in many places. We aren't proven better, but IMO we are less vulnerable in a number of areas where multiple teams went after "weak sisters" like in our secondary in the clitch (ralphie comes to mind, for example). Score another two times a game and we might be in a huge number of games over last year.
My sights are realistic: Win a divisional game this year; the rest is gravy, babes!

Dem Browns of Old Were Dem Browns of Gold!
May the Elf be with us! Get some more wins!
