Have no idea of who is following this story?
But I am fascinated by it. Have been following it from the beginning.
Something went on there and it had to be important. Why?Who? When?
Somebody went through to a bunch of trouble to dig at the depths involved by hand. Can't imagine doing that at the dates that have been discussed.
I keep thinking these guys need to find out. Don't know how much they are getting from Discovery. But they are spending a bunch.
It's just so weird all that has gone on there.
When they speculated about the Templars. I was super skeptical. Now? That lead cross. Strange.
I want answers.
I guess that is the hook. I hope this doesn't turn out to be some BS hoax.

It's a reality t.v. for entertainment purposes only.
Watched it a few times and was amazed the one brother could con the other brother into throwing his money at this "treasure" hunt.
I'm even more amazed outside people are still throwing money at this expedition.
It's total B.S., but that's ok, it simply meant to provide entertainment.
Answers nor treasure will never be provided nor found. That's how the show keeps going.
The treasure hunt is the ultimate boondoggle.

They keep finding things.
They found human bones at 100 feet deep. Try digging a two foot "footer" by hand.
FDR was there. They have been digging for a long time.
You don't go through all that with no evidence.
I have no idea what will happen. If it is all BS it sure fooled a lot of people.
At the same time a lot of stuff has been found. If it is staged they did a good job.
I will still watch. I like treasure hunts. I majored in anthropology and spent a lot of time Guatemala among Mayan ruins.

Maybe there was treasure there and it is long gone.
My interest is there has been artifacts found there.
I just want to know why, who, when.

The bigfoot show was so bogus it was comical.
The thing about Oak Island is there is documented artifacts.
Bigfoot please. A bone would be somewhere. A breeding population is necessary. Meaning adolescents. Meaning they would have accidents. Remains would have been found.
Oak Island they have found physical evidence of early occupation.
Treasure nothing really. But that is not the mystery.
Bigfoot is absurd.

Oak Island is nothing more than tall tales that likely had previous and early prospectors claiming stories of buried treasures in seeking to bilk some investor for money to fund their expedition. Plant "artifacts" and ask for money! Kind of like they are doing now on the show. This sums it up.... The History Channel's "Curse of Oak Island" series his still running with (unsurprisingly) no discoveries, no treasure, and lots of unwarranted speculation. Who knows how long they'll keep flogging this dead horse, but all indications point to the producers continuing to broadcast new episodes as long as viewers keep coming back for the next set of non-discoveries. Happily, the chap with the "Roman Sword" (an early 20th century fake, at best) is now gone and hopefully will never be seen again.More reading..... Oak Island: History, Hoax and Hype

People have been looking for this treasure for over 200 years. I don't think the history channel planted 200 year old coins, or 400 year old crosses, or 600 year old human bones. I don't know if anything is still there, but I am interested to find out

I watch the show every week and the show is 100% real but there is no solid proof that anything was ever buried there, just that people had visited the island centuries ago and maybe a lot earlier then what it is believed that North America was discovered. The Lagina's were actually searching Oak Island for a few years before they were approached by the producers from the history channel to do the show.

I watch it also. I enjoy watching people following their passion, and they've been doing it with this island for hundreds of years. I've watched all along also. Sure its scripted and things are held back to build drama but there's something there or was there. I played hockey years ago with a guy from that area who still resides there. He said last summer there was like this sudden halt in action and streams of government vehicles and other odd traffic poured across the causeway. Locals believe something was found late last summer/fall. Take that for whatever it's worth. Ultimately, in an era of extremely crappy TV Oak Island is just that for me. An Isle of enjoyment.

How on earth does a show like mountain monsters have enough viewers to stay on the air....
I mean, a bunch of so called outdoorsmen and "trackers," traveling around the USA, running through the forest, building ridiculous "traps" to get themselves a monster. They run around with flashlights, making all kinds of noise.....any animal in the vicinity is obviously spooked and probably miles away after the first ten minutes.....and they never, never, catch, photograph, confirm anything....
Its the most ridiculous premise, and yet, people actually watch this show?!?1?
Why?!??

I mean, a bunch of so called outdoorsmen and "trackers," traveling around the USA, running through the forest, building ridiculous "traps" to get themselves a monster. I've watched it! It's actually the best comedy out there! It really doesn't take itself serious at all. It gets more and more preposterous every year! The joke is actually on those who go so far over the edge claiming, "It's fake"! No crap its fake! The guy who's billed as the "expert tracker" NEVER tracks anything! Hilarious how folks get so worked up about that! My wife is included in that group. She'd gets all riled up that I watch it occasionally. Ummm dear...entertainment...

I kept watching the "Finding Sasquach", until one day it dawned on me.
If they really found sasquatch, wouldn't it be on the news almost instantly, rather than having to wait until next tuesday on the Discovery channel?

I'm waiting for them to come out with the show, "Bigfoot Found". As of now I watch Pawn Stars and American Pickers. I'm pretty sure some of the things on Pawn Stars are staged but I really don't care. I find learning about some of the history of things they find and have on the shows informative and interesting.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.
