I bet it's been along time since the Who opened for anyone.
Well Anyone didn't form until 1995, long after the Who broke up. https://www.anyoneden.net/ The group developed from the earlier band Sylvia, consisting of Story, drummer Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters), guitarist Sean Murphy and Jon "Juano" Davison (Yes), which dissolved when Hawkins joined Alanis Morissette's band, and Murphy began to work with bands Magdalen and Divinorum, besides his solo career. This led to Story's formation of Anyone in 1995.[1]
We don't have to agree with each other, to respect each others opinion.
The most interesting part of that trailer was when they said there are two men claiming the songs are theirs and they showed one guy barefoot and one guy in dark shoes. Paul McCartney was barefoot and Ringo Starr was in dark shoes on the Abbey Road album cover.

I was thinking it could possibly be John and Paul, since they both wrote the songs, and technically John wouldn't be dead if they never became famous, but your explanation sounds right.
At any rate, this looks like a really good movie (for once).

What if you woke up today and no one remembered the Beatles?
CHS... I'm more worried if I woke up and didn't remember them...LOL... But yeah that's some sad stuff thinking about it..I'm going to be 58 on the 24th of this month... And I still hear young people listening to them. I always smile and say.. "that's cool"
