He signed Manning and it carried him for years. He has sucked since Manning left.

Are the Ravens really pinning their future on Lamar Jackson? The guy is impressive as heck, but I'm not sure I'd be all that comfortable if I was the Ravens with making him the franchise.

Are the Ravens really pinning their future on Lamar Jackson? The guy is impressive as heck, but I'm not sure I'd be all that comfortable if I was the Ravens with making him the franchise. Impressive runner ... passer not so much

Elway did build a nice defense and won a super bowl because of it... He ADDED to it ... but yes he did .. will give credit where it is due ... he didn’t build it .. they had some nice pieces in place when he took over ... he did bring in ware and Talib and one or two others ... Since then ... ... There calling for his head ... can’t even imagine how loud its gonna be after this GENIUS MOVE ... its like he learned nothing after aquiring Keenum ... now he’s got a 34 year old dude that isn’t very good at all and he’ll be eating 10 mill in ca space when he cuts Keenum ... ANYONE Manning had his neck issues the year before the colts cut him ... am i remembering that right or did it happen while he was with the donks? ... I remember his GREAT year with the donks ... i also know he SUCKED in their SB winning year ... and he wasn’t very good the year before that if memory serves me correctly ... His DRAFTS have stunk ... Then again device you think Sashi did a good job aquiring talent ... ...

Maybe we call and offer a 4th for Keenum ..... and a 2nd. Keenum would carry a cap hit of $21 million, and a dead cap hit of $10 million if cut. Sportrac has the Broncos with $18 million in cap space with their top 51 after adding Flacco. I am not sure who they have in free agents they might want to re-sign .... but they have a ton tied up at QB now.

Actually, he BUILT the entire defense. He didn't "ADD" to it. The defense was the worst in the league when he took over and they ranked 4th when they won the super bowl 5 years later. I don't like Elway either, but you have to admit he BUILT a pretty darn good defense...

Should not be but still I'm surprised that the Ravens are going all in with Lamar. Or is Foles in their Horizon. If not investment in Foles or possibly a healthier Bridgewater. The Ravens might be playing for a suck for high draft pick and they might get the who knows about Lamar getting better enough for the superior run game to make it easier to pass??? Got to have the get hit equation also.
They got to have some backup plan? So maybe both the Ravens and Denver will draft QBs.

At least Elway recognizes the importance of having a good QB. If they can keep Flacco upright and healthy for a full 16 games, history says they should finish no worse than 8-8.

Are the Ravens really pinning their future on Lamar Jackson? Seems like it, without Flacco there will be no calls from the fans like there was in the playoff game. They are all in on Lamar. Baltimore better hope John is better at adjusting than his brother Jim. Lamar's last 6 quarters were bad, an elite level of bad. The Browns at halftime that last game really shut down Lamar and the Chargers added to that strategy to really shut him down. If they do not figure out how to neutralize that game plan, it will be a long year.
