Perriman was more productive than Vice Grips ... WOW ... okie dokie ... U think football is DFS ... That don’t even make sense ... when u take shots .. they oughta be somewhat based in reality ... that one actually makes me feel sorry for u .... I actually feel bad for u right now ... Can’t wait to see the analytics u pull out of your butt to justify that statement ... it least that should be amusing ...

I feel like our WRs are average. Other than Landry.
Baker elevates their play to Great.
So, if some guys leave, its not the end of the world. We can get more WRs.
But I dont think they will leave. Baker is the hottest young QB in the NFL right now.
They would be stupid to leave. This is it in a nutshell. Baker elevated the entire team. Great QBs always do. Wilks even talked about how Baker, the alpha, elevates the defense. That guy gets it. The most important thing going into next season is ensuring Baker doesnt get too Hollywood. We are really going to find out alot about his work ethic, desire, and skill this season.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

Looks like pick your poison. Keeping him would be bad, especially at tag rates which don't cover what he feels he is worth in ego dollars. AND you have the negatives, unreliability, horse crap and nonsense. Or was that Bell? I get 'em mixed up after awhile . . . .

AB liked two tweets saying that Big Ben raped to women and settled twice so he wouldn't be charged I heard from an officer I work with who was a deputy around P'burgh who knew a Trooper that did security gigs for Ben during that time. The impression I got was that its more likely than less likely the events actually happened.

The impression I got was that its more likely than less likely the events actually happened. I have no doubt that Big Ben is a sex pest. And like every sex pest, they will overstep their bounds. One of my sisters was heavily involved in sports at Miami during the time Big Ben was there and always said how bad of a person he was. She told me she was happy that Big Ben was drafted by the Steelers, so that I would stop being a fan of his (I grew up a Miami fan first and foremost. I have multiple Wally Szczerbiak jerseys and I really liked Big Ben during his time there.) Hell, even Stormy Daniels talked about Big Ben in her book. Daniels says she saw Trump the next day after they had sex when he invited her to a club in the VIP section of a golf course (it was in a club at her hotel). That is where she met Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, she says. He was chatting with Trump, and at the end of the night Trump asked Roethlisberger to walk her up to her hotel room. She says he asked her for a “good night kiss.” She refused. She says he pushed lightly on her door as they stood outside her hotel room.
“I was terrified. I am rarely terrified,” Daniels wrote, saying Roethlisberger responded, saying, “’Come on.’”
She closed the door and writes that Roethlisberger “stood outside, not leaving” while knocking at her door for several minutes but eventually left. With the Giants reportedly wanting multiple first round picks for Odell, I wouldn't mind floating the Steelers one of our 3rds to take one of their problem children off their hands.

If given the choice in a fantasy world I would most definitely take OBJ over AB. I don't think as you noted that the availability of OBJ is that of AB and actually don't know how he got so involved in this AB thread...lol
I would love to get Perriman signed. But his agent has a history and one that has not really benefited his clients as much as himself. Hopefully Perriman won't fall for Rosenhaus's BS.
But no way do we sign him to silly money. Lots of Defensive FA who are actual STUDS to spend that kind of money on.
The X-factor like him or not. Point is the WRs all like him Baker is the X factor to sign Perriman or another.
Burning the Bridge? Ummm YEAH! liking two tweets that claim his Steeler QB is a rapists. Ya Think?!? lol
It was said that AB is meeting with Rooney 2 out of respect to the owner.
3rd rounder...ehhh I don't think AB has shown signs of slowing down. He could be a guy combined with the players we got as one of making defenses insane trying to cover them all.
I'm still more juiced in the prospects of seeing the Triple RB formation with Chubb behind Baker and Duke, Hunt on each side of Baker.
Higgins is a restricted FA...I would hope that we tender him with the 2+mil tender making him a 2nd round RFA which means we get to match any contract he signs if not we would receive a 2nd round pick in the upcoming draft. Of course to still negotiate a 3+ year contract for him.
Back to Perriman. 16 receptions. If Rosenhaus can con a team to pay big time bucks for that? God bless him, is all I can say.

I love living in NC and I don't regret migrating south. But I do have to say I miss being around people who can pronounce "Szczerbiak" correctly the first time out. My last name is Polish and not nearly as complicated and it's rare anyone down here gets it right.

ANTONIO BROWN
WR, PITTSBURGH STEELERS
Responding to a social media question about his frayed relationship with Ben Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown said Roethlisberger has an "owner mentality like he can call out anybody, including coaches."
"Players know, but they can’t say anything about it otherwise they meal ticket gone," Brown said. "It’s a dirty game within a game." This came after Brown said he did not have a "conflict" with Roethlisberger but was simply seeking "mutual respect." Roethlisberger certainly has not hesitated to publicly call out Brown in the past. It was considered a potential friction point even before last season's Week 17 drama. There have been signs in recent days Brown and the Steelers will eventually work things out, but serious issues pretty clearly remain.

I think assault is overblown in today's society. Especially when the victim doesn't go to the hospital. Should we count ourselves off? 1.

I am not defending Big Ben, but posting something like that is really slimy. Anyone could make up a story about anyone they didn't like and say "I heard from..." Not cool!

I agree on almost all of your post. I do think it's worth noting though that AB pushes off on receptions.. A LOT... not just the usual amount of star power ref leeway. He pushes off almost every touchdown. On the Browns, they call that. Just look at Higgins long TD wiped out last season because he breathed on the defender. That's a TD for AB on the Steelers. Not sure he'd do well for us with the refs negating 50% of his plays. Then again maybe Baker and his star power combined could finally get us on the right side of the "super star calls".

Physical violence against others is ok if you dont break their bones, slice them open, or damage them in a way that they need to go to the ER. Also, kicking women on the ground is ok as long as you dont kick them hard.

Kicking a racist is fine in my book. Lets all kick illegals too. And drug dealers. And fake liars like Jussie Smollett. And steelers fans. And anybody we dont like. Make it so. Surely it must be ok. Because we dont like them.

Yeah, criminals really enjoy beating up their drug dealers. It's a great way to get a discount.

Stand and be counted... When you compare and equate the rather muted assault committed by Hunt to rape, you succeed in marginalizing rape, IMO. One is bad and the other is an abomination. Stop the BS equivalence.

Has Brown been traded yet? No trades can officially be done until March 15th. I would assume that if AB gets traded it'll be after then, but before the draft. The Steelers have always seemed to respect their players and try to work out solutions in house before letting talent leave.

Stop the BS equivalence. I was trying to figure out how to say the same thing. I struggled with it as I know no matter how it is phrased there will be some who think you are defending Hunt. Which you clearly are not.
