What about the underboob tattoos? These are all the rage. Not that you would be able to see it on ladies you work with. Speaking for me, what tattoo? I agree with DC. As a woman ages, tats don't look all that great. Guys not as bad because their skin doesn't wrinkle as soon, and I don't really check out guys all that much.

Pfft.
Underboob tattoo is more dependant on boob size and body size.
I'm 47 and could still pull that off if I wanted to.

For example, a large breasted squirrel like this couldnt have an underboob tattoo due to sagging.

For some old ladies an underboob tattoo could be on their thighs. OK OK the same could be said for some of us old guys as well

I've contemplated getting a tattoo across my back that is the east outline of the state of Ohio, and then the west outline of the state of Alaska. I'd combine them into a single state, and then fill the tattoo in as the years go with smaller picture to represent my journey.

I'm about to get a forearm piece that has the coastlines going from Port Saeed at the northern end of Suez down through the Red Sea, around the Horn of Africa and down to Kenya as part of a sleeve I'm having done.

I do believe in self expression being that I have a couple of tat's myself. That being said, I see a lot of younger people that I work with have tatoos on their necks, faces, and covering their hands. I lot of these youngins some how can't understand that they are getting past up for promotions or even hired on (some are temporaries) due to how they present themselves. Although I work in a factory , a lot of jobs that you get promoted to have a lot to do with self presentation and will affect future business for our company. I know that is messed up but its life. Think about it, would you take anyone serious upon anything that someone said if they had tat's all over their face. If your going to have tatooes, have them in a place you can cover them up as to be in a professional situation.

Have no tatoos here. For years i've wanted The Brownie Elf on my bicep. Yeeeeeaars. Other than that, they just don't excite me. However, I don't dislike em either. Darn it! Now ya got me again thinkin about gettin the Elf. You know, the mean lookin one runnin with the ball with the stiff arm out in front of him.
Let this sink in..... On 12-31-23 it be will 123123. On the flip side, you can tune a piano but you can't tune-a-fish.

People have been marking, disfiguring, and decorating their bodies for centuries. It's always cultural. Our culture now happens to be in a state where severe tattooing is prevalent. My view is, it's your body, it's only here temporarily, do whatever you want to it. It's also my view that a heavily tatted chic is extremely unattractive and I wouldn't give her a second look. But clearly, I'm not the dude she'd be looking for so I'm sure they could care less. I have one I got years ago. I don't even think about it any more. I would like to ask people after a lifetime of full body tats, "Hey, where do you think you'd be if you'd invested that money instead of basically pissing it away on ink no one cares about but you?"

I have a few tattoos (3). Got my first one when I was 30. I was old enough to make the decision to get it and thought a lot about what they are and where they are placed. I have one on the inside of my wrist, one just above my elbow and one on my shoulder blade. I won't go into the whys behind their location or what they are/mean etc. etc. Tattoos can be personal or they can just be body modification and art and what you see is what you get. One is not better than the other.
Do I regret them? No. Would I change them now? Perhaps. But, it is what it is and they represent my journey through this life at a particular time. And, I am a similar age to Eve, actually a couple years older...I am healthy for my age and feel that I look younger than I am. The only thing that has changed on my tats is the ink changes from black to that blue'ish black and it also "blurs" a bit over time...so, some of the smaller details can no longer be seen unless really looking at it. But, I have no age sag nor wrinkle.
One thing I would say, however, (especially to teens or folks in their young 20s), is be wise as to where they get their tattoo. You want to be able to cover them if needed. I live in a city where tattoos are very common, however, I like that my tattoos can be totally hidden or exposed if and when I choose to do so.

"Hey, where do you think you'd be if you'd invested that money instead of basically pissing it away on ink no one cares about but you?" That is where you are lost on. Most of us do not get tattoos for others to see, but for ourselves. Its expression of ones self - not an expression of others. To answer your question, I would be in the same spot you are (as a few hundred bucks isn't going to make much a dent in my finances over a lifetime) except happier because I expressed myself the way I saw fit.

I don't think I'm lost. Like I said, I don't care what you do with your body. I also don't believe a full body of tats is a few hundred bucks. But I'm all about to each his/her own.

Just got a new tattoo while I was in Bangkok. It is the evil brownie elf, only paid $80, great deal, great piece. He travels to Japan all the time to do work. If I knew how to post a picture I would.

No ink for me, but if I did, it would be this, for obvious reasons:
