I was very happy with the pick...of course everyone will tell you I'm happy about all our picks. Which mostly I am or at least I try to understand. But Ponti - I was all for the pick. 5th rounder

Go get the pct. of them staying around for over 10+ years which he is. And his snaps are all crisp and as good as they get. Its a good pick as is AD...Butch wasn't all bad.
Ahen, ADavis and Ponti. It was the first day we had problems with. Clark was just a total moron and missed everywhere

I remember thinking it was a solid pick...I wasn't expecting much from a 5th rounder. So I looked at it knowing that we grabbed a guy who was going to be here for a long time. The more you read about the guy...the more the pick looked solid....

The thing that I don't get is this........they keep saying "nearly flawless"......do you ever remember a bad snap from him?????

The Pontbriand pick actually reminds me of a TV Show...or more correctly the TV show reminds me about Pontbriand....Adam Carrolla had a show called the Adam Carolla Project where he and some of his friends renovated his childhood house....One of the guys that helped on the house was an aspiring Football Kicker. Well one episode went to this guys tryout for an arena team and Adam went with him....during the show Adam sort of bragged about being his High Schools Long Snapper. He says to the scout that he can snap him the ball and he will put it right by the right shoulder with the laces perfectly alligned so the QB doesn't have to adjust the ball to grip it. Now with Adam and his comedy you know he is just blowing smoke up your hind end......The Scout laughed and went along with it.

I'll be damed....Adam put that thing right where he said it would and the laces were out and Perfect... I about fell off my chair....I thought he was full of it......his buddy buckled under the pressure and missed 2 of 5 field goals but the scout said if Adam wanted a shot that he could get him a tryout....LOL

About two years ago - we missed an extra point...the snap was about 6 inches too high and 4 inches to the right. Which I guess makes him 99.9% accurate
