Michael Cohen, the attorney for the president who was convicted and awaiting the start of his jail sentence, is now supposedly cooperating with the feds and this week is testifying before closed sessions on Tuesday and Thursday and will have a public hearing tomorrow.

As part of his testimony tomorrow, Cohen is supposed to delve into the following: Lets see if it is supposed to be a partisan crap show or will this not be a waste of time. Tomorrow is supposed to be televised on quite a few stations.

"Russia won't be a subject of Wednesday's hearing, but according to the Times, Cohen -- who worked for Trump for more than a decade -- does plan to tell the Oversight Committee about exactly how deep into the presidential campaign Trump continued to discuss a possible Trump Tower Moscow real estate deal.
Beyond Trump Tower Moscow, the Wall Street Journal reports that Cohen "also will make public some of Mr. Trump's private financial statements and allege that Mr. Trump at times inflated or deflated his net worth for business and personal purposes, including avoiding paying property taxes."
According to Cummings's memo, other topics that are fair game for Wednesday's hearing include "potentially fraudulent or inappropriate practices by the Trump Foundation" and "public efforts by the President and his attorney to intimidate Mr. Cohen or others not to testify."

Hmmmmm, thought he was in prison for lying to Federal Prosecutors, running a taxi scheme in NY and such.

Wonder what he will be saying now?

Does he get Weiners old cell?

Will this be like Omarosa's eyewitness book or Bob Woodward's expose'?

Conservatives are savage animals. Absolutely appalling behavior from their leadership

That's pretty unashamedly threatening. What a POS.

I posted earlier today Trump stooges will try to undermine and say nothing Cohen says is true. I fell pretty sure there will be plenty of corroborating evidence - at that point it will be about deflection and undermining the establishment rather than face facts/truth.

I'd say they did your boy a huge favor.

No progress with NK other than a halt to missile testing. Intelligence services say NK is still a threat and they won't denuclearize. We learned that Trump unilaterally stopped military exercises with South Korea without discussing it with SK and because Putin said it'd be a swell idea! LMAO.

"But to fully appreciate the oddity of the circumstances, it’s worth understanding where Trump apparently got this idea in the first place. The Wall Street Journal reported in January:

Around the same time, Mr. Trump had an idea about how to counter the nuclear threat posed by North Korea, which he got after speaking to Russian President Vladimir Putin: If the U.S. stopped joint military exercises with the South Koreans, it could help moderate Kim Jong Un’s behavior…. Mr. Trump dropped the idea, although he has ordered aides to give the exercises a low profile, eliminating press releases and briefings about them."

So you will be happy if everything breaks down and we go to Nuke war with North Korea.

That will sure make Trump look bad.

Then you can LYAO as we burn.

Just great.

As you know - I never said any of that. And it doesn't change the FACT that Trump has not achieved much with NK and there is no commitment or timeline or hard objectives....

Anyhow, we see what Cohen has to say, just like we have been doing with all the previous Trump accusers, investigate for any truth, and get on with the show.

Michael Cohen Plans to Call Trump a ‘Conman’ and a ‘Cheat’ in Congressional Testimony
By Nicholas Fandos and Maggie Haberman
Feb. 26, 2019

WASHINGTON — Michael D. Cohen plans to testify on Wednesday that President Trump is a “conman” and a “cheat” who knew a longtime adviser was communicating with WikiLeaks — and who implicitly instructed Mr. Cohen to lie about a Trump Tower project in Moscow that was underway during the 2016 presidential campaign.

The extraordinary testimony will take place when Mr. Cohen, the president’s former lawyer and fixer, publicly appears before the House Oversight and Reform Committee. A copy of Mr. Cohen’s opening statement was provided to The New York Times.

“In conversations we had during the campaign, at the same time I was actively negotiating in Russia for him, he would look me in the eye and tell me there’s no business in Russia and then go out and lie to the American people by saying the same thing,” Mr. Cohen plans to say. “In his way, he was telling me to lie.”

He will add: “Mr. Trump did not directly tell me to lie to Congress. That’s not how he operates.”

Mr. Cohen will also tell Congress that Mr. Trump had advanced knowledge through his longtime adviser, Roger J. Stone Jr., that WikiLeaks would publish hacked emails from the campaign of his opponent, Hillary Clinton.

“As I earlier stated, Mr. Trump knew from Roger Stone in advance about the WikiLeaks drop of emails,” Mr. Cohen will say.

“In July 2016, days before the Democratic convention, I was in Mr. Trump’s office when his secretary announced that Roger Stone was on the phone. Mr. Trump put Mr. Stone on the speakerphone,” his written remarks say. “Mr. Stone told Mr. Trump that he had just gotten off the phone with Julian Assange and that Mr. Assange told Mr. Stone that, within a couple of days, there would be a massive dump of emails that would damage Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Mr. Trump responded by stating to the effect of ‘wouldn’t that be great.’”

Mr. Stone, who was recently indicted on charges that include witness tampering and false statements to Congress, has denied to reporters that such a conversation took place.

Mr. Cohen also plans to say that as a candidate, Mr. Trump directed him to write letters to his high school, college and other entities threatening them not to release transcripts of his standardized test scores.

Mr. Cohen and his lawyer and adviser, Lanny J. Davis, did not immediately reply to requests for comment.

Other Presidents have not achieved anything. But then they never bragged about achieving something that they didn't achieve.

Neither did they ask Japan to nominate them for the Nobel Peace prize for not doing anything.

I don't hate Trump. I think he's a [censored] awful human being and a terrible person. I know he's a pathological liar. I know his supporters are blind to facts and bang their drum about achievements that Trump is *partially* responsible for - like this silly proclamation that Trump has done more for Black workers than Obama and any other POTUS because the unemployment rate for AA workers is at an all time low (or it was). . . . the reality is that the vast majority of that achievement was a result of the previous administration ... looking at any graph/chart will demonstrate. Same with the economy. When Trump attacks Mueller - a universally respected investigator known not to be a Democrat - I think it's sort of important to respond and not let the lie become accepted.

I don't hate on Trump - I simply want him to be accountable for the things he says and does. If he tells whopping giant fat lies - then we shouldn't be saying "oh well, we all know that's a fat lie but it's Trump and that's how he rolls" .... When Cohen provides corroborating evidence and provides details of criminal activities .... we shouldn't excuse or ignore what's being said.

Except he’s in Vietnam, only to watch the Cohen testimony. Trump can’t even keep the spotlight on NK, but somehow it’s the Dems fault.

The tricky part in all of this is yet to come. Cohen had search warrants executed on his home and office. Those thinking that there won't be documented evidence to support most of what he says are fools at worst and naive at best.

This won't be a he said/she said type of testimony. There will be loads of documentation to back up his assertions. All they'll have that they can say at that point will be, "It's a deep state conspiracy and all of the documents were manufactured".

Sadly some of them will even believe that.

Thankfully it doesn’t matter what they believe. All the matters is the evidence that mueller has.

And that makes it exactly what you said: no where close to a he said/she said. There’s a reason Cohen struck a plea deal with mueller, and why he also KEPT the plea agreement, unlike manafort.

Most likely, everything said today are things already corroborated by the special counsel with hard evidence.

Cohen lies,, its been proven, anything he says today has to be able to back up or just ignore it.. File it away just in case that if in the future, proof of his comment comes to light.

Good god.

You trump supporters realize that if trump knew about the Wikileaks document release, he’s screwed right? There’s a reason Cohen got to keep the plea deal. If mueller has evidence to back that claim.....
