Can anyone tell me what the face value for a seat in the dawg pound is for the season opener? Think someone's trying to rip me off.

I cannot tell you the face value, but if want to purchase tickets for the home opener, against a hated rival, you should expect to pay more than face value. At this point in time, face value is rather irrelevant, in my opinion. They have an asset you want to acquire. You can agree to pay them what they want, and it's a win win situation. OR, you can NOT purchase their tickets, and look elsewhere for a better value. Really, the choice is yours. You are in the catbird seat, so to speak. You, and only you, are the one with the final say. JMO. I don't see how you can get "ripped off" since you have the ability to say yes, or to say no.

Sorry about coming across in a rude way....your p.m. explained a lot. I just don't have the answer on face value for seats in section 327, although I did sit there last year for a game.

My bad - sorry about the apparently "rude" interpretation.

I took it as honesty....not really rudeness.

Well, I meant it honestly, but he p.m.'ed me and explained his situation, and because of that I can see why he is asking. And, for the record, he did not say, in the p.m., that I was rude, nor did he even allude to that - he simply explained why he was asking, and I can understand his point of view.

So, long story short, I just wanted to end it up front - if he or anyone else thought I was rude.

I think all Dawg Pound tickets have a face value of $40, even the upper deck seats...

Joe Thomas made Justin Timberlake change his name. He didn't want wusses to have the same initials...

No. I didn't take it as rudeness. I said to my brother sitting beside me "That's what I'd say too." You just figured I was someone trying to haggle someone buying a ticket or something to that extent. Understandable. Thanks for all the info guys.

Are you sure you really have to do that?

Got one last question if anyone can help. My question is what exactly is a club seat at the stadium. My ticket says club seat but not really sure what that means. The ticket was awful expensive, so just curious. Thanks for any info you may have

More/less the middle deck of the stadium, in which you also have access to the club lounge, etc.

Beerdowner is right. Clubs are cool as you have a small bathroom line, heat in the winter when you go inside, better food but just as expensive as the standard fare. Can't take your beer outside of the club area though. Lack of hardcore fans is my only negative about it. There are some but most stand around inside and chit chat not paying attention to the game at all. More of a social status thing. But good seats.
