Colts out on Bell sweepstakes

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Packers and Jets have spent some MONEY on D

Bell could also be looking to give a "screw you" to the Steelers by signing in the division.

I am unfamiliar with this feeling of optimism

Watching him play twice a year against them would be must see tv.

I would be shocked if Bell didn’t take the biggest offer. I don’t think the Ravens will have the biggest offer.

I thought the biggest offer would be from the Colts; I was wrong

No doubt. He'd did not sit an entire year to all of a sudden start giving a team a discount.

Considering that he passed on what ... $15 million (?) last year, in order to maximize his next contract ..... I doubt that he'll take less than he has to. I don't know that they get a lot more in the run game, considering they have 2 really good RBs in Edwards and Dixon .... though he could help as a receiver. I just don't see the Ravens as being the highest bidder.

But if you look at teams spending money, his teams are dwindling too

Any recent rumors on Gostkowski? Over the weekend there were reports he'd likely resign in NE, but Chicago and Minnesota were chasing. Just wondering if we'd be calling too.

I'm not saying he's someone we have to get, but it would be nice to lock a solid kicker up and they are never expensive.

The clock is ticking on Aaron Rodgers; they want to get one more before the window closes.

As for us I wanted him but not for silly money that Gruden is spending. He seems to be really off the wall.

They are actually showing him signed...was he Released that is why they can sign him?

His cap hit is 15.25 mil this year.

Est. cap space for Raiders is 50 mil. Top 51 players is 53 Mil in cap space.

I think noon on the 11th they could start talking and sign at 4:00 pm on the 13th.

Now, how they got that deal done in 9 minutes is another question.

Yes, you are confused. Not sure where you got your dates.

I copied this from the information forum. Go check it out.

"March 11-13 Clubs are permitted to contact, and enter into contract negotiations with, the certified agents of players who will become Unrestricted Free Agents upon the expiration of their 2018 player contracts at 4:00 p.m., New York time, on March 13."

Players can sign after 4PM tomorrow

Ok thanks...Now I'm not confused... wink

btw I got my dates from the Browns site as they listed Days to note. Senior Bowl, Combine and the 13th and 15th as I stated they had nothing about the 11th, now I understand and thanks again.

Most other years Murray gets a one year deal. This year? four year deal. This market is crazy.

$66 million?

Once the parameters are agreed upon, the actual language in the contract takes some time, but is easy to accomplish by 4PM tomorrow.

I would have liked to have John Brown, but it was never realistic. Now Josh Allen can throw 80 yard bombs to him. Unfortunately they will still be 20 yards past Brown.
