John 3:16 Jesus said "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
Freddie's stress level just went up 100...alot of pressure now. But man if he figures it out

You kidding? His job just became, "Give it to Chubb once in a while, then Hunt when he comes back 'n other 'n that, find the open man. On D, sack the QB, if you can't sack him, intercept him. If they run, tackle him immediately."

make no mistake, he still has alot of pressure to make this work. On paper it looks like a fantasy draft. but he's got to keep alot of guys happy and get everyone rowing in the same direction. Granted its going to be alot easier with the plans, but as a rookie HC and all eyes on him now...its still a daunting task

which is why I said if he does figure it ..man..we're in for something special

Of course there are things to work out, but dawg, I'd rather have to work things out w/a ton of talent than not.
def not disputing that..just saying alot of expectations have just been laid at Freddie's feet. Everyone is going to be looking for him to win now...i'm not saying he won't..just saying the pressure is there now. Theres no year off to get things figured out..its time to hit the ground running. I think Dorsey knew this months ago and thats why we have the staff we do. Its almost evil genius

No, he's not an analytics guy for personnel moves, but Paul DePodesta is still Chief Strategy Officer and still has a significant role in identify options and long-term plans.
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.
I don't disagree, mainly just messing with you. But I will say Freddie's strong suit is getting everyone rowing in the same direction.
As evidenced by his very short time as OC? We have no idea what kind of HC he is. HE has no idea what kind of HC he is. He's never done it on any level. So until he does, none of us can tell what kind of HC he will make. We all HOPE he's a good one. We shall see.
1. Dorsey gets hired. First day, cuts the cancer that was Kenny Britt. Hue may have had input. 2. Gets Landry, a vet QB in Tyrod. 3. Drafts Bake, and Mayfield, at least for now, has more than merely justified the selection. 4. Takes the stud corner from OSU, drafts Chubb. 5. A year later, he's signed Hunt, traded for OJB and made our DL better.

Exactly what we have done was get a football "GUY" who is not afraid of Change. We got a guy who actually KNOWS what to do with the Analytics.
So we have combined The Father of Analytics with a rather Good-Great Football guy and this is the outcome.
We got younger and better.

Defense wins championships. Watson play your butt off! Go Browns! CHRIST HAS RISEN! GM Strong! & Stay safe everyone!
I would love to see Joe Thomas or Pluto and not named MKC really do a solid interview with Dorsey sometime, like if this season's roster pans some real gold this year.

Last year we won in the draft and it appears that we won in the trades and FA this year.
NOW we need to win on the field, the only place that it really matters. I turn 60 this year and it has been my dream to see MY Browns win one before I die it sure looks like that may very well happen. So while I love what we are doing I want the Lombardi, and that means winning on Sunday.
Oh and I want to say this too, congratulations the long suffering/us we have stuck with this team thru plenty of ugly we deserve this and God damn it we had better get it.

Can't believe I am in a group that is comprised of the best NOT just fans but people on the planet.

The Browns upgrade at the Skill positions in the last two years has been fantastic. Should lead to more wins on Sundays and yes, a playoff win. People are actually talking about the Browns winning the division and making the SB without laughing. The area that still concerns me is the OL.
As for being a Browns fan, I have faced ridicule and have been laughed at. They are not laughing now.

I want to embrace the moves.....but I have some concerns.....OB is a big personality....I'm hoping BM can be the leader we all think he can be, and keep his guys focused, and eliminate distractions...that means dealing with Beckham and keeping him happy without giving him any preferential treatment.
Same goes for Kitchen as HC......can he deal with the pressure, the ego's, the press....while he was great running the offense last year, he's still a big ?? as the HC...
Plus, a new coordinator on defense.....
On paper, the Browns look much improved...But we still have some big questions that won't be answered until the games start counting...
I just look back at 2007, and going into 2008 we were supposed to be turning the corner and it was fools gold.....I have more faith in Dorsey than Savage....but I seem to remember this same kind of feeling going into 08....
