I wish we could get Ryan Fitzpatrick or Mike Glennon as a back up.

They are serviceable qb's.

Because he did not play particularly well lol...he played later into the season due to injuries, and we didn't acquire him until pretty late as well.

I agree... they're going full tank. With Belichick and Brady still around in the AFC East, it may not be a bad idea to chill out for a bit.

I wish them luck 'cause it ain't the most fun process, obviously.

Wondering where Higgins’ head is?
Doesn’t sound like he’s gotten any looks?
Have I missed something?

He was tendered (original round tender). My guess is either nobody wants to give up a 5th for him (crazy considering his trajectory) or they believe any reasonable offer will be matched by us. Or there's stuff in the works and he's not a big enough name for the media to care.

There are quite a few players missing (and it isn't 53 players), I assume this is what you anticipate being starting the season with?

That's the "so far" list yes. I'm using it to visualize holes. The bottom rung (churning players) I'm not bothering with.

We still have a draft and udrfa's and all that.

Definitely incomplete.

Higgins's head is in LA, along with Baker and some of the other receivers, working out together.

For some reason I thought that Wilson had been let go after his second knee surgery in 2 years.

He may never be the same...But we shall see, I'm sure we will see how he is during training camp...(Idk if he's even healthy for that?) But with his health in question...Sadly I don't think he'll be around (shame as I really liked him)

Yeah, he seems to be going the way of the guy from Oregon, Ifo Ekpre-Olomu (sp?).

Sad, I liked his tape coming out.

He was on IR last season. Who knows if he'll be anything.

He's a very upbeat and positive guy though. That probably helps him in his recovery.

You nailed it, his story is sounding eerily similar to Ifo...If his ACL wasn't bad enough, that kneecap injury he sustained last year, is honestly going to be tough to come back from...And he's not one of Dorsey's guys, so he has a long road ahead of him...I'm hoping he catches on, even if it isn't with us.

Anyone know per rotoworld, how come I can see any of the new FA's new contract with their teams...with the exception of the chargers? I saw SD resigned SS Adrian Phillips (whom I didn't know also made the all-pro team in special teams) But nothing available for both him and Perryman... (financial wise)

Thanks for the info...I read Perryman signed a 2 year deal with SD (however no financial info was released) and I know Perriman (WR) signed a 1 year 4 mill deal with Tampa...wonder if that got mixed up lol

The pickings are getting rather slim:

No wonder JD is thinking more about trades than FAs.

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Browns added some more depth along their offensive line on Friday by signing Kendall Lamm, the team announced.

Lamm started 13 games at right tackle for the Texans last season and has started 24 games since coming into the league in 2015 as an undrafted free agent out of Appalachian State. He has appeared in 55 games, all with the Texans.

The Browns added Eric Kush on Thursday to help along the interior of the line. Lamm gives them depth at tackle with Greg Robinson slated to start on the left side and Chris Hubbard on the right. Desmond Harrison started last season at left tackle before Robinson took over and remains on the roster.

Danny Shelton didn't suddenly forget how to play football, if the Bengals sign him, they'll get a good player, if he gets motivated, he can make a couple of plays a game.
He's a big strong guy, as somebody is known to have said,

There are only so many really big guys on the planet, you want to have a couple of them on your team.

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

My first thought was New England. But, I don't know how teams view some of the crap this guy pulls on the field.

If Harrison’s play for the Steelers was any indication, they’d have no issue with it.

I don't remember Harrison purposely trying to injure opponents ( I may be wrong). I know he played rough but it seems with Burefict winning was sometimes secondary to injuring someone.

They're both bad guys. James was a little more effective at it than Burfict, imo.
