Courtesy of the generosity of our very own waterdawg, the DawgTalkers Predictions Contest, ran by FloridaFan, will have a Grand Prize to the Winner this year that goes a little beyond the standard Signature Images of the past.

The Grand Prize this year is a hand-made Leather Browns Jacket!

It fits me perfectly , but I'm declaring myself ineligible.
FloridaFan is responsible for all results and determining the winner (and subsequently the recipient). Upon notifying myself and the winner, the winner will need to contact me with their personal information and we can make arrangements for delivery.

I have to say, the pictures taken with my crappy camera don't do this thing justice, it is some really, really beautiful REAL leather. The orange panels and the logo/lettering on the back are beautiful NuBuck.

waterdawg and his people did one helluva beautiful job on this and I thank him very much for this.

Like can I submit my pick for tonights game only, and then pick the rest of the games this weekend before sunday?

Or do I need to make all of my picks before the first game (today)?

I clicked on the link to enter my birthdate on my profile but it only allowed me to change my password. Is the birthdate only for new users, maybe I entered my B Day when i signed up last year.

I prob wont win so i guess its a moot point.

The predictions page doesn't care when your birthday is.

They are technically, 2 separate sites. Dawgtalkers is run by PPE, and predictions was setup by me and IDP last year to take the place of the old manual post method that has run on dawg talk and dawgtalkers for the last several years, that got too large to track without hours and hours of work.

I thought it would be a fun coding project to work on some new ideas I had before I tried using them on our company site, and it's become large than I expected, and has been fun and a great learning "blackboard" for me.

Just one note: Everyone, there is no need to make your picks for tonight. Tonight's game does not count in the standings..

I couldn't get onto the page and hit "forgot password" and up came an old account that I no longer have, with a new password mailed there.

But...if that isn't tied to this...I guess i am good here.....but not there.

Huh. Nice jacket. Nice to see someone picked up my predictions threads and kept it going. Who would have thought a simple thread from 3 or 4 years ago would have blossomed into this.
