I posted that thread about the mascots playing the game and who would be the best... now i really don't understand why it was deleted... the description of Pure football is.... Discuss the Cleveland Browns and other related Pure NFL football topics here; Players, Coaches, FA options, etc, as they pertain to the game of football in the NFL. Not to be confused with the "Gameday" forum, which is utilized for discussion of this week's game. i got the message Reason for move: Posted in Pure football, and it's from a Blog now that was about football why would it be in the wrong spot? the description of tailgate is A forum for fans to discuss things outside of pure football. Buy/sell game tickets, talk about the Tribe and MLB, the Cavs and the NBA, Buckeyes and the rest of the NCAA, other sports, current events, TV/Satellite listings for games and/or player appearances, professional athlete police blotter reports, and getting together for tailgates. NFL Draft discussion goes here as well until the off-season draft forum is created. it was a nfl topic, and what isn't PURE about talking about all the teams? And about the blog thing, other people have posted football discussion blogs from writers and such, why was this one not allowed ? it was from FOX and it was EDITED by the ADMINISTRATOR. so whats wrong with that? and i don't see anything against blog posting from major sites. like if someone posted a yahoo post about a yahoo editor going on a rant about something would it get deleted? and even if it wouldn't go into pure football why couldn't it go into tailgate? just wondering why it was deleted... because i did not see anything wrong with it

It was not a pure football subject. Blogs are also not allowed to be posted unless they are the blogs from the main Browns board.

I see and hear everything. Now where did I put my white cane, and my hearing aid?

Fox Sports Blogs are not accepted; but, ones from browns chat are? Ya that makes sense, and there is nothing about posting blogs in the rules of the pound so, I don't see why it could not be posted in tailgate. It was an appropriate article that I found interesting it should not matter who writes it.

Ones that are written by folks at clevelandbrowns.com, yes.

Mascots playing football is definitely NOT pure football as it has nothing to do with the game of football. We are talking REAL football played by REAL football players in the NFL. It was NOT appropriate at all.
