Last night, at my house, the white people ate boneless chicken breast in a habanero sauce on a bed of wild rice with a dinner salad.
I'm not sure how this is killing the planet.

I think they are looking at the overall carbon footprint including water used to calculate the cost on the environment of growing food and bring it to the table. The diets of whites on average use more of a few higher cost items in general. So they are illogically extrapolating the minor differences in diet to justify this racist hateful statement. Not a real way forward.

The largest threat to the climate is the large scale animal meat/dairy industry.
Everybody of all races contributes to this. Unless you are a vegan. Every vegan I have ever met looks like this. . . .

I'm not sure how this is killing the planet. My daughter recently got a second job, at a restaurant. One of the things they serve is fried chicken, every day. One of the perks of working there is, at the end of they day, an employee can 'buy', and I mean cheap, left over fried chicken. She brings some home about once a week. I eat it as a before bed snack, or if situations come up where wife and I don't cook, or I have obligations, etc.........put it in the air fryer. Heats it, crisps it up very nice. and bam, leftover fried chicken.

Our manager would do a count at closing time then we were free to take home the leftovers that would just be thrown out. We ate so much chicken at my house it wasn't even fun anymore. My mom doesn't even like fried chicken anymore. My dad always loved it, as do I, but we were sick of chicken too back then. Wasn't long after I left that job that dad admitted he missed the free chicken though.

I stated before, that's how I was when I delivered pizza for Pizza Hut. Wrong pizzas were put out for employees to eat. I ate a lot. And got sick of it. Took me years after I quit delivering before I'd eat a PH pizza.

My grandmother could make the perfectly. now I'm not claiming to be as good as your grandma, but you fry up a little bacon, remove the bacon and leave the grease in the pot, you add just a bit of chicken broth, a bit of salt (not too much if you used broth with sodium), a dash of pepper and and a few red pepper flakes and simmer up the collards for a good long while (depending on if you like them crunchy at all between 40-50 minutes).. adding the crumbled up bacon back in near the end.. You got me wanting some for dinner now.
