Look I am trying to be objective about this and in regards to Adam Schiff we are talking about a non elected, intelligence official who perpetuated a lie for years. Here he is saying that there ample evidence of collusion.

This is the same guy who said that Donald Trump Jr also colluded with the Russians and would be indicted "any day now" or some such nonsense like 6 months ago. He went on television to say that the arrest of Roger Stone was just more circumstantial "evidence" that Trump colluded. Virtually nothing he said turned out to be even remotely accurate.


This is a Hollyweird liberal given a huge platform run amuck. He ave his base exactly what they wanted an entertaining lie. I don't see how he could not resign at this point and I think Democrats should also be calling for his resignation.

That's one way to look at it. The other way to look at it is that there was plenty of indication of collusion - but no provable evidence to prosecute or take it further. Whether that was because of a lack of intent or whatever IDK - but Mueller has said no collusion. That's good enough for me. Move on - but lets not act like there wasn't justification for the investigation and a huge stink with all the lies and close Trump campaign members all charged with crimes.

As for the other litany of issues Trump is accused of - being cleared of collusion doesn't give him a free pass on the rest. It's really simple.

And just like Trump is grandstanding and telling the world falsely that Mueller exonerated him completely - which is a whale of a lie - there are going to be those on the other side who will continue to make a lot of noise about the other issues Trump faces... Rightly so.

Conflating Trump collusion and my disdain for Adam Schiff. This man lied to the world on almost a daily basis as a member of congress. How can you possibly bring up Trump and his lies in the same breath while at least passively forgiving Schiff for his out and out McCarthyism?

Did Trump Jr. Take a meeting with Russians to get dirt on Clinton, did he lie about it, did his father dictate the lie? The answer to all that is yes, so how do somehow call that a lie.

Did Manafort admit to meeting with Russians and giving them campaign polling data? Yes, he admitted it.

See what I'm saying, what Schiff talked about was already known as fact..

So you're buying one of two narratives, you either believe the Mueller report that there was no evidence of collusion to steal the election or you believe Adam Schiff. You can debate ancillary happenings, sure but Adam Schiff went on global television as a sitting member of congress and told the world that Jr would be indicted and that there was ample proof of collusion.

There is really no gray area in this.

It wasn’t Mueller’s job to indite Trump and his family mob. He left that up to trumps butt buddy who won’t release the report.

You mean the Barr summary because none of knows what's in the Mueller report.

All those things most definitely happened and there is probably more minor stuff that we don't know about --- and the result of all these findings and investigation is the Mueller determined that there was not enough evidence to prosecute.... Or however you want to phrase it (my understanding is that Mueller was never going to make that determination, he was presenting facts). Not having evidence to prosecute does not mean that in some way shape of form the Trump Campaign didn't cross over a line ever.

It's like speeding 6 miles over the speed limit on the freeway but not getting pulled over by the police for speeding ... it's not that you weren't speeding, you just didn't go over the speed limit enough to justify a ticket.

Now on one hand you have some still saying "Well he definitely colluded"- based precisely because of the things above. On the other hand you have Trump proclaiming total exoneration. At this point i think it's semantics. Move on. I've always had trust in Mueller - 100%.

With that said - people parroting the attacks on Mueller who conducted a first rate investigation and the idea that Trump did absolutely nothing wrong ... I disagree with 100%. AND ... on the issue of obstruction, I do not trust Barr. A man who was appointed because he held views that a sitting President could never be prosecuted/indicted for obstruction because of the office he holds. I think if we ever see the report, I'd expect there to be plenty that most would interpret as Trump obstructing and trying to influence ongoing investigations.... and then, he still won't be impeached.

At this point I just want the facts, the truth, out in the public forum before the 2020 election cycle gets going full steam. Those on the right and left deserve to know the facts before they cast their votes.

Look it up buttercup. within an hour of her saying that - CNN and MSNBC completely took a 180 on what they were reporting - and ran with the same topic for over 24 straight hours.

While I agree, they should release the full report. My gut tells me it is going to turn into a complete non sequitur to the "Committed treason by rigging a United State Election". It is going to turn into something complete unrelated and the media is going to trot some miscellaneous portion around like a show pony to save face. Be it, porn stars or Jr talked to someone or Bannon did something.

There is NO WAY they can report collusion as a damn near fact for 2 years and not attempt to save face.

I think you can call out both and mention that one of those two were elected president even after lying about the legitimacy of the former president for eight years.

I guess one can try to distinguish the difference between two liars that are elected officials but it doesn't really change the fact they have both lied about a sitting president. One was just heavily rewarded for it afterwords while that same person wants the other one to resign for doing the same exact thing he did.

Is actually simpler than that. Libs/dems are not that concerned with their reputations. This is why libs like schiff are saying "lots of evidence" when they have none.
