Naquin finally tattoo'd a ball (put one in play).

Pop-up to deep catcher.

Just a few more feet and it could have been a pop-up to first baseman.

Can't hit the high fastball and can't lay off the high fastball.

Can't hit the curveball either.

Game 2, after returning from major injury and surgery last year, crazy

Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

Keep the faith YTown! Hope you end up on the right side of this.

Seems pretty clear his deficiencies since his rookie year.

Inch and a half of snow and Opening Day eve. Welcome to Ohio. MLB schedulers are morons. This team as well as most teams in the Northeast cant get rolling until nearly June...

Featherheads fall 9-3 today. 13 more strikeouts - that's 39 K's in their first 89 At Bats, nearly 44%. Mind you, this is not a feast or famine group of hitters who strikeout a lot but hit homers when they make contact. This lineup right now is made up of banjo hitters with the exception of Jose Ramirez, Hanley Ramirez, and Carlos Santana. Its early, but they need to start putting the ball in play.

A wise old man once gave me some sage advice: “Championship baseball teams win half their road games and two thirds their home games.”

Not a chance. I believe it will get much worse once we get rolling. If other teams walk about two to four of our batters who can hit, we may never score again.

This group has potential to set some records. They have started already.

That's funny right there. thumbsup

I'm not a big stat guy and I don't have a degree in analytics or anything.. but it would seem to me that through 3 games, the fact that the Indians are averaging 4 hits and 1.7 runs per game...

That's not very good, is it?

Mike Clevinger goes 7 innings, gives up 1 hit, strikes out 12, and leaves with a 1-0 lead. Bullpen gives up 3 runs in the 8th. AARGH!

The good news: Indians lead 2-0 in the middle of the 6th, and Trevor Bauer has yet to give up a hit.

The bad news: Trevor Bauer is at 97 pitches with 3 innings to go.
