The measure would have had no practical effect even if it had passed. Illegal immigrants — and indeed noncitizens as a whole — are not legally able to participate in federal elections.
But Republicans had hoped to send a message to localities such as San Francisco, where noncitizens are now allowed to vote in school board elections.

oh, ok. I believe its a way the left can start to normalize the process, and inch towards allowing illegals to vote in the federal elections. Give an inch, they take a mile. Illegal immigrants should not be able to vote in ANY election.

I won't venture a guess as to how tough he is or isn't. I have no clue. But as I said, if he ever met me he wouldn't have made the comment about me "getting beat up a lot". I give off the "good old boy/redneck" appearance and if you don't discuss politics with me that's the only perception you would get. I'm certainly not a guy someone would point to in a crowd and think victim of.

I mean when I was a much younger man I was far more easily triggered and went off the deep end. But one thing I've learned by meeting several of the people who post on this board is you can't judge who or what someone is based on what they post on a message board.
I've never met OCD, but to try and say you're fairly certain about him regarding anything other than the opinions he posts here are based on nothing at all.
