Nice!
Been thinking about Warhawk because those are my favorite types of games, but with SOCOM and UT III coming out, I am afraid to overbuy and have too much to play. Because I usually get stuck on a game for months and months at a time.
I hear good things about Warhawk, tho.

Good for you!!!!!!, You made the right decision.
BTW What's your network ID?
Oh and Dawgpound, I know what you mean. Personally, I'm still playing Rainbow Six:Vegas, lol.
I'm switching off between that and Madden.
I'm either waiting for Socom, GTA, or MGS. I guess I'll have to do a little bit of spending, oh well.

I still have some beef with Sony; it stems from them trying to screw me over.
You see, I had some problems with my PS2, so I sent it in to be repaired; it took two weeks, they sent it back with everything free of charge and all was good. Then about a year later, I started running into the same problem--the dreaded "disc read error." So I sent it in, only to get it back two weeks later with a note attached saying that the system "was infested with bugs" and was not repairable, and in the letter they suggested that I should look at purchasing another system. Well, not wanting to spend the loot; I opened up my PS2 myself, and with a cotton swab, and some rubbing alcohol I simply swabbed the laser lense. Then I put it back together--it took me around 10 minutes. Then when I hooked it up again and it worked fine for about a year (until it fell off my dresser), then it stopped working all together--so I bought an xbox.
But just the point that their "technicians" had diagnosed my machine as unfixable, and I fixed in ten minutes with a cotton swab and rubbing alcohol really peaved me off as a customer. It was like they just wanted me to buy another PS2--instead of actually taking the ten freaking minutes to fix it. Since then I have held a grudge against Sony.
I wish to wash my Irish wristwatch......

for all you PS3 owners, is the 60 gig version worth the $100 extra? I know there's a downloadable version of warhawk, how much space does that require?

I think you mean the 80gb version is $100 more...anyways, no it's not worth the extra $100. If you get the 60gb you can buy a new HD to put in the PS3 that will double or triple the space you have for the same $100. Also, the 80gb version using software emulation to allow you to play old PS2 games meaning some may not work, unlike the 60gb version that allows you to play all the old games.
I just bought the 60gb version from Amazon for $472 and got three free Blu-Rays and get 5 more free after a mail-in rebate. The PS3 is cool but I still like the Xbox 360 a lot better.

Your Xbox 360 will miss you more then you will miss it. I love my system, I just don't worry too much about what the PS3 has to offer. We get the same sports games, GTA4 next year, and Halo 3 this month. I'm still just trying to work out the XBL, but I'm broke now. P.S. Brute, I pm'd you with an article I found.
I want the Cleveland Browns to be my pallbearers so they can let me down for the last time.

And you will all misss Mass Effect. I am not sure if Assassins Creed is 360 only or not but those two alone are worth keeping the 360 around for. Not including Bioshock which is an excellent game.

I don't have any console right now. Been thinking about a PS2 since they are cheap now, and would work for the few games I want. But warhawk looks like a fun game. Makes it tempting to get a ps3.

Is it complete and everything though?

I've heard the online multiplayer is outta this world, and the maps are pretty huge. What are the lobbyies and servers like? ranked and unranked matches? And I've heard it has a steep learning curve, gotta Iove that!

Loved War Hawk, but it's not enough for me to get a PS3.
Price drop, more games, severe upgrade to their on-line play, and Sony proving to me that their customer service no longer sucks.....I will consider getting a PS3.

I just went to Game Stop to get a used game for my new 360 Elite I just got replaced after 3 weeks because my old one wasn't reading the discs. I told the guy at the counter about my situation and asked him which console he liked better, the PS3 or 360. He never told me, BUT he said that there is going to be a huge recall of PS3s soon because of problems with the Blu Ray. He gave me no details, but he said it would be happening soon.

I find that hard to believe. I haven't heard of anyone having problems with their PS3 except for Tastybrownies on here, and I want to say that one of the updates he downloaded screwed his up. So I'm not sure what they'd be recalling because there's been no problems that I've ever heard.

First of all people at GameStop are not reliable sources of information, yes they sell video games but trust me problems that are so severe that would require a recall would be plastered all over the internet before anyone working at any GameStop would know about it.
The only thing that has happend was a Texas company sued Sony because they said the Cell chip (Designed by IBM) infringed on thier patent. The company as part of thier law suit wanted all PS3's impounded and destroyed. But that's not going to happen because thier lawsuit has no weight. But that had to do with the Cell chip not Blu Ray.

I bought a PS3 about a month ago. It is easily the better system. I can't wait for the WWE game that is coming out soon.

I really don't see how it's "easily the better system." There aren't any great games out for it yet and there are very few good games. There is Warhawk, but if there was anything else to compare to it, it probably wouldn't be viewed as good. I got a PS3 about a month ago, watched a couple Blu-rays and played a game when I first got it and haven't turned it on since. The 360 is still the far better system for games and there are a lot of great games out for it. JMO

The PS3 has a better 1st year line up than the 360. To me the 360 has a few Great games (Gears, Bioshock, Halo 3(now)) and a lot of good games.
The PS3 has a few great games (RFoM, Ninja Gadien Sigma, Warhawk) but they only have a few good games. (I'm not including Multiplatform games)
Now, the 360 does have more good games but it is also a year older and had more development time. Gears of War didn't come out until a year after the system launched and it's the best game on the system thus far, (until Halo 3 takes that spot). Give the PS3 some time to get it's Killer Apps out like Metal Gear Solid 4, Final Fantasy 11, Little Big Planet, God of War 3 and Socom Confrontations and you will see a lot of other games on the system.
But all in all both systems aren't going anywhere and should do very well because each system has it's own set of exclusives (1st and 3rd party) with a good mix of multiplatform.
