Simply put, no one, NO ONE, should attend the game next Sunday. Not 1 single fan should sit in those stands(sans Bengals fans). If you want to watch the game on TV, that is more than fine, I will be watching also, but we should boycott the game at all costs.
We need to send the message that losing will no longer be tolerated in Cleveland sports.

yeah, I'm sure someone who paid $50 bucks for a ticket is just going to eat it and stay home.

Too bad... I'm going.
This is exactly why things can remain the way they do, there is no pressure on Lerner to change anything; to make anyone accountable.

what exactly would people staying home accomplish?
They already have the money from the ticket sales... at most the team loses out on ceoncessions sales.
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

Sure lets just not show up and embarass ourselves further...no thanks.
I'm a fan during the good times and yes the same goes for the bad times. Give it time they will get it together this season once we get some NFL quality QB play. Don't forget the Steelers are 2 years removed from a Superbowl. Today sucked but we were in no position to beat the Steelers at their best and they were more repared than us today.
No reason to not cheer on the players that are giving 110% percent for this team and city. We are going in the right direction regardless of todays game.

You don't see a problem that a ROOKIE head coach who is <35 years old had his team more prepared to start the season than a 60 year old 3rd year head coach who has been in football for 25 years?
That is inexcusable. More-so, you say that we are going in the right direction? What happens when Tomlin becomes a savvy veteran?
Prl, I didn't say that it makes sense, just that I am as frustrated as all of the Browns fans must be. Something has to give. That was just a pathetic display. I really wish that I had the money to refund anyone that paid to go to that game today.
It's tough to be optimistic.

Said rookie head coach inherited a better team than we've seen here in years!
Ask Romeo which he'd rather have!

I think Tomlin will be a solid Head Coach, when have the Rooney's not made a great choice?
As far as my comments, it was pertaining to the fact that someone said the Steelers were more prepared than us and to me that is indicative of our Coach's inability to get us prepared. Hence the point I made about a rookie HC coming in here more prepared than ours.

I understand and do agree.
I liken it to history which is full of for example, military officers, some can command squads, regiments or brigades but are not suited for higher command. They just couldn't make it at the higher levels and fail.
We may well be looking at another example of that in the pro sports grist mill of coaching with Romeo. Good coordinator, can't advance to HC!

Being unprepared is unexcusable.......I cannot deny that. Doesn't mean I don't think we are headed in the right direction.

I think the front office knows were not happy with them.
I don't think boycotting them will make them see the light, or give them some sense of guilt.
I really don't think they care, it's a lost cause.

Ya know us fans make statements all year, every year...but to me it's falling on deaf ears, or were getting the answers they want and we want to hear, they dont mean anything, to me the organization & players need to shut up, and play, I'm tired of talk, tired of excuses, tired of this reason or that reason, no words from any player coach or front office person can make me feel better about what I saw today on TV, if they try there insulting us fans knowledge of football, plan & simple we saw a unprepared, uninspired team come waltzing out onto the field and got our behinds handed to us on a used napkin...Browns need to shut up and play, dont insult us with thier we tried or we didnt get the breaks, were not stupied fans, we know football and we also know when we dont see football...example TODAY

2 pound seats at $40 each $15 to park in the flats where it was $7 last year. $7 for RTA $14 for 1 st beers before anthem.
$116 dollars to be out of the game 5 miutes in.

2 DP seats $40 a piece, $6 parking, water and a pop....
We payed like $95 today, oh and lunch so $25 on top of that... $120.
I love the Browns, there's no way I'm not showing up if I have tickets... If you offered me tickets to a game late in the year and we had 0 wins, I would go.

LOL... I'm not attending that game because I attended last years 30-0 debacle and the christmas Eve massacre against the Steelers the year before that. After those ludicrous outcomes I've decided I wont be making the 4 hour trip for a game against a division opponent (or tough one) until the team shows some improvment on the field. However I will be going up for the Houston game this year, by then our record will be 3-8 or 2-9, Brady Quinn will be the Q.B. and we should have a decent shot at winning over a Houston club that is decent but not great by any means. Can't wait.

Yeah I spent a lot of money today, but if I have tickets, I'm going. If you want to spend the money and not show up, so be it. I won't do so. I don't have Bungle tickets, but I do for the Ravens and will be there for sure.

how is not showing up going to do anything?
it's not like randy lerner is just sitting and ignoring what is going on...
we've been through how many coaches since '99?
ownership isn't the problem here.
please don't try and speak for the browns fans.
and the whole tomlin/crennel argument is lame, the talent level is pretty different...
lame argument. this topic should be deleted.

Tell me about it...
$40 per ticket $5 for breakfast on the drive up $5 for dinner on the way back $50 in gas $6.50 per beer times 6 or so beers $20 for parking
Plus the 3 1/2 hour drive for me every week to the game. Then to go up and be down 17-0 in the first 5 min of the game. Disgusting.

Hell, that's the only way to stay a Browns fan it seems. We have become the laughing stock that the commentators are laughing at now, we are well on our way to becoming the new Bungles.

I saw a few times in this post: we are heading in the right direction. It's been 9 years that we, yes WE, have been saying that. I was @ the game yesterday, what did you guys see that I didn't, that showed we are heading in the right direction?

I love the "Blame Lerner" crowd. As if he's sitting 40 million under the salary cap and hiring his buddy from high school to manage the team. What more can the guy do? Have we heard even ONE story where we could of had Coach A or General Manager B, but didn't because we didn't want to pay for it? He's supplied a state of the art practice facility and adequate equipment for doing everything that's needed. He's NOT nickel and dimeing everything in sight like Mike Brown did for Cincinatti back in the 1990's. And like LeBron said, we've gone through more general managers and coaches than any team in the NFL the last 8 years. It's not like he's sitting around and letting Matt Millen drive things into the ground like the Ford's are doing for Detroit. I suppose if you want, he could act more like Daniel Snyder and Al Davis and run the franchise himself ... even if he knows nothing about football, just like Al and Dan. About the only thing he can really do is superficial stuff like lower beer prices ... but with all the fistfights that broke out yesterday and the crowd's history of "good drunken behavior", that would probably be a bad idea as well. The only thing left after that would be a letter in the newspaper apologizing for yet another bad performance. And how long do you think that sentiment will be appreciated if we keep losing? I'm sure we'll get endless posts about, "Why won't Lerner stop bich'in about losing in the paper and actually do something about it."

You mean there is NOT a warehouse of great GMs, Coaches, and NFL talent out there that Lerner just refuses to use? Savage is doing a fine job... RAC, well my confidence in him is sliding, more because of mistakes and lack of intensity than anything else. The guy obviously knows a lot about football, I'm beginning to wonder if he can take that knowledge and pass it on and use it effectively....
