Socialism is not an economic policy the government should be ran upon. Protecting and providing for your people are policies your country should be ran upon. The capitalist system is the best economic system the planet has ever known. I have never heard a Democrat dispute that.

Having healthcare for all of your people does not make a capitalist economy socialist. But that's what Republicans do. They put any negative label they can find on anything that will help the people.

You will not be helping the people by having the Government run Healthcare.

This only leads to waste and rationing of services, like England and Canada.

Private Business and Competition serves the people best. Capitalism!

Stop spreading lies. They ALL spend far less per patient and all have better healthcare. That's how it works when you let drug companies, insurance companies and lobbyists run your healthcare.

If you truly investigated the facts you would see just how healthcare works in other countries compared to our own.

They come here for treatment because they are placed on long waiting lists or denied coverage in their home countries.

Once denied, there is no recourse as the Government has the final say.

They come here for optional procedures. I'm not worried about your wife getting a face lift.

That looks like what people were doing with the Republican candidates in 2016. I just hope normal people don't have their votes split in so many directions that the Dems end up with some idiot pulling off the nomination like what happened to the Republicans in 2016.

USA Today opinion contributor Peter Funt said California Democrat (Sen. Kamala Harris) “apparently thinks it’s fine to own a handgun for personal safety,” which he insisted was a “position held by the NRA, not progressive Democrats” and that her gun ownership is a “under-publicized revelation.”

"Her words are fine, but for a progressive like me, they are undermined by that handgun. And I can't be the only one who is disturbed. Keeping a handgun for personal safety is a bedrock conservative view. The best defense against a ‘bad guy with a gun,’ the NRA falsely argues, is ‘a good guy with a gun,’” Funt wrote.

Funt appeared to take issue with Harris’s reasoning behind purchasing a gun, in which she said that as a career prosecutor she dealt with “dangerous criminals” and she “felt compelled to have a gun.”

“Kamala Harris doesn’t seem to have the courage to concede that owning a handgun for protection is a bad idea,” Funt continued. “Instead, she has given voters a real choice: Back candidates who care enough about gun control to not own handguns, or support the only major Democratic contender who has one and won't throw it away.”

Looks like your call for Liberals to arm themselves has fallen on deaf ears.

2020 long-shot Mike Gravel changes plans, says he’s now ‘running to win’

When former Sen. Mike Gravel of Alaska launched his extreme long-shot bid for the Democratic presidential nomination at the beginning of April, he said his only aim was to push the large field of candidates further to the left by making the debate stage.

Now, it appears the 88-year-old Gravel is raising his sights.


He declared on Monday that like other candidates facing a steep climb to reach the White House, “I am running to win. Just as much as Seth Moulton, John Delaney, John Hickenlooper, Tim Ryan, or Eric Swalwell are.”

Sen. Bennet joins the 2020 Democratic presidential field.

Bennet is a moderate that I might consider backing if he gains traction. I like him but need to know more. He's pragmatic, wants to work with Republicans to form bipartisan solutions on economic opportunities for all, to make Medicare an exchange option, to return integrity to government...

I don't think personally this new incarnation of the GOP is worth working with but he thinks they are so I'll listen. I would prefer to just run them into the ground and have a liberal paradise... lol.

Closest I ever came to seeing a Liberal Utopia/Paradise was when the Psychiatrist down the block would hold a monthly cry-in.
