Just before the release of the Mueller report, Attorney General William Barr reminded Congress that another report is coming soon. Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz is wrapping up his related probe focusing on how the government handled the Trump-Russia investigation.
If history is a guide, Mr. Horowitz will lay out the facts objectively, accurately and in meticulous detail.

The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday that Horowitz is close to concluding his inquiry into the genesis of the Russia probe. The report said Horowitz’s team has questioned why the FBI considered Steele a credible source, and why the bureau seemed to use news reports to bolster Steele’s credibility.
With Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia report now out in the open, attention has returned to the salacious and unverified anti-Trump dossier authored by Steele -- especially since its more sensational claims were not substantiated by Mueller's team.
Former FBI Director James Comey has also faced renewed scrutiny for his role, as the inspector general as well as Attorney General Bill Barr examine the origins of the probe.
Barr testified recently that "spying" did occur against the Trump campaign.
Comey dismissed Barr’s comments at the time, saying he “never thought of” electronic surveillance as “spying.”
But Comey was put on the defensive again following a recent New York Times report detailing FBI efforts to investigate the Trump campaign.
The FBI reportedly sent a woman to meet with then-adviser George Papadopoulos at a bar in London during the campaign. The woman, who identified herself as Azra Turk, asked Papadopoulos point-blank if Trump was collaborating with Russians to swing the 2016 election.

The Justice Department offered 12 congressional leaders -- party leaders and the heads of the Judiciary and Intelligence Committees -- and a staff member each the ability to view a version of the Mueller report that only contained redactions of grand jury material, which the Justice Department has argued it is prohibited by law from sharing without a court order. That version of the report contains material that was redacted in the public report because it was classified, connected to ongoing investigations or contained information about peripheral third parties.
But not a single Democrat has shown up to read it.
You post that - with all the restrictions around the people who were able to see the report - and the restiction on their not being able to discuss the un-redacted report with ... ANYONE .... as somehow being normal or "ok" ... Barr can release the Grand Jury info when someone changes the Law. No Court is going to force Barr to break the law. The entire report is currently available to read. No Democrats have shown up to read it. They can't continue to lie, make accusations, and character assassinate once they see Classified information. Done Deal.
Trump does not have to release his taxes and Congress can't make him without his having Due Process in Court. Congress has laws to follow on how and why they can get his taxes. They have not met the challenge yet.

Fox News reported on Monday that Attorney General Bill Barr had assigned John Durham, the U.S. attorney in Connecticut, to conduct the inquiry into alleged misconduct and alleged improper government surveillance on the Trump campaign in 2016 as well as whether Democrats were the ones who improperly colluded with foreign actors.
Durham has led numerous public corruption probes, including organized crime, government misconduct and financial fraud matters. In 1999 AG Janet Reno appointed Durham to investigate law enforcement corruption in Boston, and under AG Eric Holder Durham was selected to investigate matters relating to the destruction of videotapes by the CIA and treatment of detainees by the CIA.

Did the right make up the fact that Trump asked Russia to get the emails on national TV? Or that Jr. had the Russian meeting and sent the 'love it' email? Or that Trump emasculated himself for Putin in Helsinki on the world stage? Or to this day Trump still won't admit Putin interfered in the 2016 elections on his behalf/to his benefit?
