I know there was the Giants/Cowboys game on last night but my wife made me flip over to the VMA's during commercial. Anybody catch this so called performance. It was horrible... possibly the worst performance since Milly Vanilly was caught lipsinging. Heck at least they moved around an put on a show kind of. She looked fat, uncomfortable, didn't know the words, drunk or something...

They made her wear underwear ... hence the uncomfortableness.

Did you see 50 Cent's reaction? "What the heck is she doing?"

the VMA's were a trainwreck to begin with, my g/f said that this was the worst VMA's ever, shes a pretty religious watcher also

Wow ... Lebron James' ESPY performance was more inspiring.

She might look "ok" compared to the average woman at the beach.....but she's a pop star (or was), dressed up in almost nothing, on stage, and in front of millions and millions of people. That's embarassing. While it may not be fair to demand perfection from our stars....put down the Snickers bar and do some situps before you attend the VMS's sister. Or at least wear something other than a bathing suit.

...and I like curvy women. She just looks frumpy and out of shape. Like the above poster said, she may look good for someone that spat out a few kids recently....she still looks like a woman that spat out a few kids recently (which is the point). That may be fine at the mall, it doesn't fly while performing at the VMA's.

Not sure who looked worse...her or the Browns.

Agree...its more what she wore... Don't get me wrong, I'd still make babies with her. But, put some close on. Your on live tv in front of millions. She would have looked alot better in something less trashy.

I heard from my wife who is the gossip queen... that she found out that Sarah Silverman was going to rip on her... so she was pissed and didn't want to do that act. It showed. I feel bad for her kind of... but that performance was pitiful.

That's not even a live performance. That's a dance routine set to a CD.

That annoys me so bad as a musician, watch them jump around, dance, run, flip, and never miss a note while singing. Then I read comments from people after a rock concert where they complain the singer missed notes, and it didn't sound just like the CD.

She looked totally dis-interested. I expected the song to be garbage, no surprise there.
She's done, her image has taken too many hits because of her meltdowns, she can't sing, she's no longer a cute-sy high school kid.
Next career move: cheesy Vegas act that even Vegas won't want.

There is no possible way she can be serious.

I think Britney Spears is a perfect example of how money and greed can take a sweet little girl and turn her into a train wreck. I think that the people managed her are mostly to blame. They manipulated her image to the point that SHE doesn't even know who she is. I always veiw these little pop tarts like this; they start out selling records with this innocent little teeny-bopper image. Then slowly but surely they are wearing less and less--dressing more and more revealing---trying to appeal to the audience in a "more adult" manner. Pretty soon they become oversexualized caricture's of their former self. Its just a great example how little girls in the entertainment industry are nothing more than meat. They will systematically be forced towards a more sexual image until they are eventually tonguing Madonna on an Awards show. All because you can sell more records for your label this way.

Of Course, this doesn't happen to every little pop tart that becomes popular overnight on some cheesy image her management team concocts. But it goes to show that it does happen to some--and America loves it.

EDIT: That second one was 10x worse. I couldn't watch it for more than 15 seconds before I had to shut it off and slit my wrist. Now I got blood all over my damn laptop.
