Have one up?

I keep one on my apartment living room wall.

We have a local Boy Scout Troop that provides a service where you give them a yearly donation and they come out on 5 holidays, Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Labor Day and Veterans Day, and place small piece of PVC into the ground so it accepts a piece of conduit with a very nice flag flying from it. They leave it about a week or so and return to remove it. The Boy Scouts do a nice job of planting them and saluting each flag they provide. Our neighborhood association has them planting two at each entrance to our neighborhoods and in center islands throughout the neighborhoods. Individual residents also have them at their homes. We have flags flying out at the street level all over and it's gorgeous.

I have Tibetan prayer flags out in the trees in my yard. That’ll have to suffice.

Sure, why not?

Most people really don't pay much attention to the flag. Unless of course someone does something in relations to the flag that offends them. Then they make it sound like it was some critical piece of their life all along. Shortly after that anyone who disagrees with them gets the snowflake label.
