I decided it is finally time to post something and introduce myself after being apart of this board and lurking for over 12 years if not more.

A little background, I grew up in Dayton surrounded by bengal fans (which sucked as they are so fair weather) and my grandfather was from Bellevue Ohio and a lifelong browns fan and introduced me to the Browns taking me to my first game in 1981 and I was hooked ever since.

Reason for my post is that I have seen a lot of posts lately that reminds me that all of us have things in common and have to admit you guys and gals are literally like family to me even though I don't post.

So now it is time for me to do so as my wife told me I have to (I have a smart wife as you can tell and I know who is the boss)

I probably won't post a lot but wanted to introduce myself and just say this is an awesome group of people on this board and I hope you will welcome me after lurking all of these years.

I'm kinda the same guy. Read this and many other boards for years without posting much. It IS a great bunch. People have their little arguments and don't always act like saints, but you can tell it's a big family when someone is in need of advice or suffering in any way. Don't be a stranger!

PS. All I have to say is I am definitely not pulling GM's finger!

Some of you have asked 12 years lurking, wow!

To give you an idea, I lurked on the original board, then the stupid Browns chat, and have on this board since Prp. started it.

I remember reading posts from Christie, Shep, Ravenkiller (RIP), Jaft, Coach B (that was fun reading when the drama hit) etc.

My wife and daughter and I live on the Westside of Cleveland and I am thinking I may have to come down to a game this year and tailgate with some of you at the legendary Saint's and Columbus's tailgate.

Thank you again for the welcome and if I am doing something wrong with posting please let me know as I have never really posted on a message board.

I've met several of the old time posters like myself at tailgate parties, training camp and other events. It's something you would most certainly enjoy. It's always enjoyable to put a name with a face.

Some will look and act much like the picture your mind has portrayed. And some will be entirely different than that.

One other thing I wanted to mention is my username as it a little unique and does not have anything to do with the Browns.

It is my nickname I have had since I was in Junior High.

My last name is Miller and when I was a kid, I was always doing stupid things and my friends would say "Miller, man what the heck are you doing?"

To this day everyone calls me Millerman as it just kind of stuck.

I just thought that actually.

They said the same thing to me a lot of times too but I thought it would be in my best interest in not getting banned in the first day of posting as I might set some sort of record!

We are definitely planning on coming down to a couple of games and hope to meet some people at Saint's and Columbus's tailgate.

My wife and I have our own personal uber driver (our 16 year old daughter who watches every game with us and was born a browns fan)

Funny side note-every Friday since my daughter started school 16 years ago should would wear her browns gear to school during the season and a lot of times kids would make fun of her as they were "Steeler fans, Patriot fans etc."

We live in Cleveland and I told her have faith it will be.....one of these days soon where we will be good.

I took her out for ice cream last night and she said to me...Dad you will not believe everyone at school are suddenly Browns fans now.

I said yep I bet they are but doesn't it feel good that you stuck with it thru all of those bad years.

Good job raising such a great daughter! 16 year old girls typically aren’t that die hard yet

I am 48 and gone thru a lot of watching the Browns when I was young and being made fun of on the school bus by Bengal fans since I grew up in Dayton.

I absolutely can not wait for this season to start as it is going to be fun!
