40 .... When your "Opinion" is totally fake, devoid of facts AND ignores responses that contain and refer to independent sources containing DATA (not opinion) .... yes, it is 100% trolling. It's all you ever do.

Please. The guy has real momentum right now. I hear very very little about his sexuality.
In theory, if it’s trump vs mayor Pete, and the evangelicals start talking about his sexuality despite him also being Christian, mayor Pete would crush trump in the generals. I just have a hard time believing some guy who is merely the Mayor of South Bend Indiana can somehow become President in one move. I mean, there's like 125,000 people in South Bend or something like that (off the top of my head). It's quite a jump from that small pond of politics into the big ocean of the Presidency.

We let a reality TV game show host become president.
I don’t think a combat vet with mayoral experience is all that crazy.

The Silent Majority will decide the Presidency in 2020.
That actually gives me hope- since you are never silent, and you hardly represent the majority.

They are the people who go about their business everyday, shaking their heads at the News and not yelling on social media. They are the ones who say things like, "Oh, I don't really care about politics." They are silent. They are the Majority. They choose for us who runs the ship. Unless they choose to just stay home.

While you lament over your personal feelings and lifestyle concerns.
While you lament over the personal habits and gruffness of Trump.
You miss the big picture that concerns ALL Americans. More great news... In addition to tutoring and art, I have recently been dabbling in writing curriculum and trying to sell it to publishers. May I use the above as examples of sentence fragments and combine them with actual sentences in a lesson about sentence fragments, independent clauses, dependent clauses, simple sentences, compound sentences, etc? Thanks in advance if you say "Yes."

Pfft. And when you quote me in the future, copy the entire quote. Does that help? Why would I quote the entire post when I was just focusing on how you don't know the difference between a complete sentence and a sentence fragment. You threw out multiple dependent clauses and treated them like they were independent clauses. I just want your permission to use them as examples of incorrect sentences. I would hate to violate any copyright laws that you may have on your "writing." <<cough--cough>>

Same was said about a little-known freshman senator named Hussein, too. 8 years of howling proved the naysayers wrong. Except Obama was a Senator. One of the top 100 in the legislative branch. He had experience with Federal Government by the time he was President (albeit, a short amount of it, but still had some). That's a big difference. One's a Mayor of South Bend (Population just barely over 100k), the other was a Senator. Huge difference

I don’t think a combat vet with mayoral experience is all that crazy. Trump was a Reality TV Game Show Host as well as the leader of the Trump Organization. Let's not act like we elected Howie Mandel. Trump got elected because he sold himself as a deal maker and a guy who knows business. Not saying he is some great deal maker or a business genius, but that's the credentials that got him elected. Not his game show experience

I have to agree with Swish. My counterpoint to support his position? We've had billionaires run for president before, yet Trump is the only one who has won the election. Those Billionaires had the 'deal making' panache too.
I believe Trump's awareness with the american people in the media before his run had an incredible amount of built up capital that he used to his advantage.

You all need a reality check.
84 million people watched the presidential debates.
Clinton was a trash candidate that was immensely dislikable.
Trump was a trash candidate too. He did a better job campaigning.

Although the thing that ultimately cost Clinton the election was the dems were deeply divided as a party due to hosing Bernie.
Your party is still divided.

exactly. we have billionaires trying to run RIGHT NOW that aren't getting any clout.
Eve's logic is beyond flawed and ridiculous. Eve doesn't watch keeping up with the kardashians, yet she knows who is the face of the show.
yet somehow, since "only" 7 million people watch the apprentice, that must mean only 7 million people knew trump was on the show?
thats next level.

Might certainly be part of it. While i never watched the show, my parents did and both voted for him. My mother more-than-likely regrets it. My father at this point has become a sheep to the Republican Party. Generally, whoever gets the most attention. It's confusing because he adored both Bushes, and now he makes excuses for Trump's character flaws (or merely jokes about them like they aren't a big deal). He's 78 though, and he's not going to change. But, what got him his show was his empire. His brand. Something he formed, partially by using his skill at marketing himself in the media (the guy's name has value to SOME people). And this skill was a major asset of his toward becoming the President. But I'd have to agree, without the Apprentice, his name wouldn't be what it is. The Apprentice helped his brand and before that his brand helped form the apprentice

I never watched the apprentice, or knew/cared who was on it. Neither does anyone I know. I don't watch Kardashians either unless Tristan Thompson forces me to hear about it. I couldn't care less about celebrities. Shark Tank on the other hand. I'm all about that.

that show most certainly did.
because what it did was mask his actual "empire".
how? lets not forget, he got sued for running a fraudulent university. he tanked a casino in atlantic city. he got sued by the government for discrimination. he bought a park thats in ruins. he just about single handily tanked a football league.
doesnt pay his contractors. hires illegals. stole money from veterans while campaigning.
oh yea, least i forget: trump foundation was such a fraudulent organization, it just got shut down by the government.
but just like rappers, trump gets away with the PORTRAYAL of wealth.
the difference is that we would never elect a rapper into office. but apparently the guy who lives his life like one is a great candidate under the republican party.

Trump has been a media darling since the 80s bro. There are some pretty sleazy interviews from him back in the day. Watched one the other day as part of a TYT piece and the way he treated the married woman interviewing him was cringeworthy all the through. I'll post it if I can find it again.

there's a lot of things that one would assume could be a determent to voting for someone. such as "if she wasn't my daughter, i'd probably be dating her". but life is full of surprises, isn't it.

I don't follow politics as closely as most of you, but I do not think Trump got elected because he was on a TV show.
I think he got elected because the Dem's talking points scared the hell out of the white middle class. Tax this. Free that. Tax us some more. Give more free stuff away.
I pray that Trump loses the next election, but the Democrats need to find a candidate that doesn't want to screw the white middle class over. Having millionaire celebrities and athletes, as well as a nose-in-the-air professors and an obstreperous media might draw you a lot of attention, but it doesn't win votes w/the heartland of America.

Stop. Those were the same talking points the right used against Obama, and he got elected.
Twice.

People like me made people vote for a racist?
That’s some stupid logic right there. People like me didn’t seem to stop Obama from getting elected twice. Oh that’s right, a ton of people like me voted for the guy, and defend him against racist attacks.
People like you were silent when he others voted for the birther guy. It’s people like you who help destroy this country.

Then back your candidate and stop scolding others for wanting different things out of their candidate. smh, Who are you to say what this country wants? You are one man with a highly focused centrist view. Are you scared by the crap the GOP spews? If they out vote the left, then they out vote the left. But I want a candidate that is going to work for the middle class.
Next election, there won't be too many votes swayed by policy. It's going to be a referendum on Trump. Either you want to keep him or you want him gone. The rest is gravy.

He has every bit a right to scold any candidate he wants, left or right. And you call others fascist. Your literally trying to tell him he is not allowed to have an opinion, not allowed to speak that opinion, and he is only allowed to scold the politicians YOU disagree with. Carry on.

I probably would have said nothing if he hadn't beat this to death already. You know, like when I get piled on for wanting Trump impeached. And he was scolding further left dems, on here that's me and Swish and others.

No one said he speaks for you or swish or me. He is voicing HIS opinion. You are ONE man, Swish is one man.
Or you are basically saying the far left is literally a collective mind, and cant think for themselves, because that's basically what I am getting from you. Either fall in line with the Borg, or resistance is futile.
