Impeachment is fruitless with a GOP controlled senate. The dem majority house know’s it’s obvious there is nothing trump does or has done is impeachable according to all the GOPers in the senate.

I’m 98% convinced trump will never leave the WH on his own accord.

No No, third times the charm, we got him this time!

The House voted 332 to 95 to set aside the measure. Drats.

I thought they had him this time.

Oh well, on the bright side, it was good to see all those Republicans and all those Democrats come together to table this thang.

Anyone that's been here for more than an hour, let alone those that have been here since just prior to Trump getting elected, know that you have had a burr up your rear that you can't get rid of, yet you keep showing the burr, with nothing to show for it. I think you should maybe go back to Civics class. The country is a Republic, and was founded that way from Day 1.

Lol dude... they all had to come to together for a vote. It’s their job. The bright side is the Democrat controlled house still has a shred of credibility left in this dying democracy.

You need to hope they don’t all unite in congress dude. Because when or if they ever do again, trump is history. And it’s not going to end well for him.

If they could just figure that out. Most of them have. But you have that far left squeaky wheel that just won't shut the hell up.

Maybe that's a good thing for the dems. They thought they had the last election won.

If they could just learn from that. I have a tag line for the far left wing of the party. I call it the "I want it all and I want it now" faction of the party. It's somewhat of a distraction but thus far the smarter, ( No, I won't qualify them as actually being smart ), portion of the Democratic party has manged to keep the wolves at bay.

Rightly or wrongly the Republicans had Hillary in their cross hairs for year and painted her has evil, untrustworthy and "crooked". Bernie had even labeled himself as a socialist. Neither of those two would have been what any rational person would consider a strong selling point to voters.

One thing I've figured out after the 2016 election. And sadly it reminds me of the Browns since our return, at least until the middle of last season.

If you can find a way to lose, they will.

Lol. The republicans put up Donald frickin' Trump and the dems couldn't win. I voted for Urban Meyer. I lean conservative, but I haven't voted for the republican candidate since Bush's first term.

Not at all. I'm actually thinking pigs, and those pigs want to be more equal than the rest of us. I saw months of late night comics, cartoon publishers, and balloon makers go after the president with some rather disgusting things. Now they want an exception because the person being attacked is a 'woman of color'. Be equal and stop whining when it's your day in the barrel. Public figures get attacked. Their color or gender should not matter.

The funniest part about all of this is that 137 of the Democrats in the house voted against impeachment proceedings and they act like it's a Republican win.

Most Democrats understand that keeping Trump as president is the best way to win in 2020 and the Republicans seem overjoyed to sit by and watch that happen.

The democrats have a major problem on their hand because they've lost the house in my opinion. Is the speaker Nancy Pelosi or "The Squad?" I'd rather have Pelosi at this point since the Squad somehow doesn't know how to condemn actions by Antifa or Al-Queda.

See below: The Democrats are using their most played hand. The race card. Nobody gives a damn whether you're black, white, yellow, or green. What we do care about is where your ideologies are. These people are not pro-America, they seemed ashamed or not proud of America and it makes me sick. How did they get to these positions?

You know, some people appreciate independent thinking and not everyone walking in a straight line playing follow the leader. I mean I guess that's fine as long as the person you're following stands for the things you've said and stood for in the past and represents your values.

But when you start having to make excuses for the things they say and do, some people would actually rather see you grow a spine and stand up for what you were before that man came into office.

But sadly, these days people think playing follow the leader rather than trying to be a leader is the best option. I find that astounding.

And to some degree I agree with you about the race card, but in a different way. I think it compares more to the story of The Boy Who Cried Wolf.

Now that a real racist has come along, they played that card when it wasn't needed so much, that now when it is needed some of you can use that excuse.

There's different shades of racism. I'd argue there's more racist acts committed than most see, but society is too desensitized to things that people get away with more.

Just look at the detention camps at the border. We're all okay being here typing about whatever rather than protesting inhumane conditions at the border.

I don't know what all the " cried wolf" talk is about, I don't see anyone who cried wolf.

If Trump did call them a bunch of names, it wouldn't hold up as a "crime" in any kind of review.

Racism is only a crime if he tries to keep them from buying a house or place or residence, or try to keep them from getting a job or employment,

they'd have more ground to stand on if they came at him from the persons with disabilities act law.

Can anyone actually tell me what the US House of Representatives has done in the past 6 months?

1. Failed to govern. Nancy Pelosi is a disgrace. She cannot control the house and it has went into chaos.
2. Failed to start work on the debt ceiling.
3. Failed to generate meaningful immigration reform.
4. Failed to introduce anything the American people care about.
5. Failed to work with republicans.

What the heck are they doing?

So people of different heritage that are women trigger you that much, eh?

You better get used to them. They're not going anywhere. I'm also 99.9% sure AOC will win her first attempt at the presidency whenever she decides to run.

Those "scary Venuzela socialist ideas!!!!" that are actually social democratic ideas from the UK poll well with most Americans; they also poll incredibly well with my generation.

Enjoy your last grasps of jingoism, white nationalism, and worshiping the rich. The reckoning towards a brighter future of Americans soon approaches.

That's funny, she'll have a hard time being re-elected in her district.

Poll Reveals Just How AOC's Constituents Feel About Her...And It's Enlightening

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) may be the progressive left's favorite new Congresswoman, but according to a new poll released by Stop The AOC PAC, her constituents aren't fond of her.

The group walked throughout New York's 14th Congressional District, which covers Queens and the Bronx. They knocked on 10,556 doors and spoke to 22,546 voters. They discovered that:

• 58.2 percent of those surveyed were unfamiliar with Ocasio-Cortez.
• 50.8 percent of those surveyed had an unfavorable opinion of AOC.
• 56. 6 percent of those surveyed said they were unsure if Ocasio-Cortez had their district's best interest at heart.
• 33.4 percent of those surveyed said they would oppose AOC running for reelection next year.

"Facing an electorate more concerned with results than retweets, Rep. Ocasio-Cortez has problems in her backyard. Despite her online notoriety and fandom in the national new progressive movement, the citizens of New York District 14 want a representative aligned with their values," the group concluded. "After surveying voters in 2,261 homes in the district, it’s clear Rep. Ocasio-Cortez is not the model for hope and change she sold herself to be.The opportunity for a new voice is prevalent, and the electorate is ready to take action in 2020."

Condemn them? Wow! Your side seems to want to.

I disagree with them a lot on some issues and some of the things they say.

But see, I have a firm grasp on reality here. They represent the people in their districts. They don't represent you and they don't represent me.
