Thaank to that stupid Amazon Echo commercial, I can't get this song out of my head. Maybe it's the driving beat, but I kinda like it .... but enough's enough.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
John 14:19 Jesus said: Because I live, you also will live.
Its not cheesy at all, just not my usual fare. Concrete Blonde may or may not have had other hits - I'm just not aware of them. I just love Johnette Napolitano's voice and the raw emotion of this song.
Louisiana's LeRoux was a great band, but never a "hit" machine. This one got a decent amount of FM airplay in the late 70's and was a minor hit. One of my all-time faves, "New Orleans Ladies".
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."
This group had three hits that were somewhat popular. Tell Her No, She's Not There, and this marvelously cool song.
They were, and still are, beloved in England and with all fans of 60s pop (and Rod Argent went and formed the band 'Argent' who had the hit 'Hold Your Head Up'). More than just a footnote in rock history...they would demand a page or two. Believe it or not they still also tour. They will be in Cleveland in August to play at their induction into the R&RHoF and they are playing our beautiful concert hall here in Portland with ex-Beach Boy, Brian Wilson in September, which holds 3000 people.

Paul Rogers sang a lot of hits. But only one with Free. And a GREAT one hit wonder!
A Canadian one hit wonder that was huge when it came out.
Dude....Free were HUGE! This was definitely their big Top 10 song, but aside from that one hit they became mega successful with their 'Fire & Water' album.
And, Nazareth were actually Scottish, not Canadian.
Sorry to be pedantic about all of the above, but I have written a lot about rock music and many of my articles have been published. I am sure if somebody on here got things wrong with the Browns people would be quick to correct them.
Free's "Fire and Water", "The Stealer", "Heavy Load", "Wishing Well", and others may not have been hits in the Top 40 sense, but they are all great songs - rock standards, IMO.
Procol Harum had other "hits", just perhaps not of the type on the Top 40. Go on Youtube and check out "A Salty Dog", "Simple Sister", and "Conquistador".

Great band and one of the biggest selling album bands of the 70s. Their 2nd album with the star woman on its cover is superb. But, so are the two that bookend it.

I actually considered this thread was about singles that were hits. As such the only single on that album that reached the charts was "Alright Now". Now if we have a thread about albums, that's different. But did Free have another single that was a hit?

You're right. I had a brain fart on Nazerath.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Not in the US, but they did in the UK. I think they had 4 or 5 top 10 or top 20 hits in the UK. As with Grand Funk Railroad in the US, time has forgotten just how big they were.
I absolutely hate that song it's the most aggravating song I ever herd and Macs suck just as bad I can run circles around a mac with windows. I can find about 20 programs to your one on a mac.
