Nah, I haven't been treated badly by cops. At all. But, I've never ran from them. I've never fought with them. Never argued with them.

Yall should watch that show Live PD. I swear it seems like they harass more white people on there than any other race. And all the women act like freaks.

Sure it is. You stated something along the lines of me thinking I've been treated bad. I simply explained that I haven't.

Yeah, that was your first sentence.... My first sentence was this: "My drivers' ed. instructor told us that. "You get pulled over, be respectful to the cop." My parents did as well. Don't run from the cops. Don't sass them."

As I've said before, how you act towards the cops matters. I've been in court when a judge asks the cop if you were polite. I've gotten out of tickets for cooperating. I managed not to get shot when I was mistaken for a cop killer. Be nice to the police.

This guy didn't run. he was completely innocent. but according to the Arch's and Erik's of the world, its the civilians fault Man who alleged police locked him in closet awarded $50M https://www.yahoo.com/news/man-alleged-police-locked-him-183132936.htmlCLEVELAND (AP) — A jury in Cleveland on Friday awarded $50 million to a man who claimed police beat him while he was handcuffed and locked him in a storage closet for four days with no toilet and nothing to eat or drink but a carton of milk. The jury award in the lawsuit filed by 52-year-old Arnold Black against East Cleveland and its police department included $20 million in compensatory damages and $30 million in punitive damages. A different Cuyahoga County jury awarded Black $22 million in June 2016 during a three-day trial where no attorneys representing East Cleveland attended. The city subsequently appealed, and the lawsuit was sent back to Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court for another trial. Whether East Cleveland can pay the jury award is uncertain. It's one of the poorest cities in Ohio and has long struggled with maintaining basic services. An email message seeking comment was left Saturday with East Cleveland Law Director Willa Hemmons. Black was jailed in April 2012 after an East Cleveland detective asked a patrol officer to pull over Black's truck, believing there was a large amount of cocaine inside. The lawsuit said Detective Randy Hicks began punching Black in the face and head when no drugs were found while the patrol officer held Black upright so Hicks could continue the beating. The officers then locked him in a closet being used as a holding cell. Cleveland.com reported that Hicks again took the stand during Black's latest trial and testified the East Cleveland department had a culture of violence at the time that included the practice of roughing up suspects to get them to talk. Black was indicted by a grand jury on drug possession, criminal tools and tampering with evidence charges. An assistant Cuyahoga County prosecutor asked that the case be dismissed in July 2012 because East Cleveland police failed to provide any evidence to support the charges. Hicks was eventually forced to resign. Defense attorney Justin Awal said Black was "elated" by the verdict. ____________ and lets be clear. this isn't a few bad apples case. there's so much crap that doesnt make the news or get caught from corrupt cops like this all around the country. but according to the Arch's and Erik's of the world, its actually the civilians job to know how to act in high stressful situations, while the cops who are actually trained to operate in high stressful situations get pass after pass after pass after pass. but hey, do what you're told, and nothing bad will happen, says the two white guys who clearly havent paid ANY attention to how black americans have been treated by law enforcement since the end of the civil war.

What a pathetic response. Just like someone with nothing of value to say. Brings up example of treatment by cops, poster brings up evidence with facts that minorities have legit reasons to not trust law enforcement, then you respond with whataboutism.
But you defend racism and supremacist all the time so, I guess I shouldn’t really be surprised.
I love how the “limited government” people are so quick to grab a pair of knee pads for law enforcement.
Obey, dog.
Yes, master.

Bro it’s so fake.
The same people who call the government the deep state is telling others to completely obey said governments law enforcement agencies and extensions (state/local law enforcement).
Obey the law...unless it’s the British. Obey the law...unless it’s the union. Obey the law.....unless it’s trump. Then they’re more than happy to break the law and protest against the government.
But be a black American and do the same thing? Protest corrupt government and fight to change the law?
Know your place, boy.
Guys like Arch and Erik are sending that VERY message yet are completely unaware of it.
Or....maybe they are. I dunno.
Like I said in multiple threads, you see people keep claiming they’re against something like racism, yet the moment it pops up, they do everything they can to defend and excuse it. Then they vote for it to top it all off.
OCD, I have no idea what they want me to do with the rock solid evidence they keep providing me. I can only come to these conclusions based on the evidence provided.

I'm at a loss for what I've seen in here recently Swish. There really is no logical answer other than the types of answers you are pointing out. This place makes you feel like you need a shower after reading it most days. It's like watching a cancer kill something you love.

And you have just shown everyone again just how small minded and hateful you are. There hasn't been a single time I have ever told you to obey the law. The conclusions you come to are based on nothing more than the hatred you have for cops. I suspect you were taught this as a child, and still hold to this childlike mentality.
Being a longtime lawbreaker myself, I learned early on that I'm far better off playing the role of 'law abiding citizen' to the cops instead of being trouble to them. A person tends to have an easier time when they do that. Only a true moron will give them a hard time when they've broken the law.
I have gotten away with speeding, b and e, drug possession, assault, dui, and other crimes just by playing it cool. You sound like you'd rather go to jail for a year rather than be polite. Does the space between your ears hold a working brain?

It's the fact that people like yourself are blind to what goes on between cops and the black community in many cases. The many times they hassled and harassed solely based on color.
Since it doesn't happen to you, some act like it's not happening. Then they make it sound like it's the black communities fault they don't trust cops.

Says a lot. If' you've gotten away with these things then you must be a regular offender ... the odds of you DUI once and getting stopped once is next to zero. You sound very proud of your "achievement" I agree being polite and doing what the police tell you to so is smart .... it doesn;t however follow that if you are rude, that somehow violence or death that has resulted is in any way acceptable.
The more things change the more they stay the same.

You just explained to the board why Dylan roof got Burger King after shooting up a black church.
Not exactly sounding like a winner, there. Also, you have quite a scumbag history. Assault, dui’s, and other crimes?
No wonder you voted for trump.

No, I'm not a regular offender. I did have a seriously mispent youth, cops treated dui differently when I was young, and assault today was just a fistfight back then.

I stood outside while a neighbor was being arrested to be a witness if he wasn't treated fairly. He cooperated with the cops as I have described, and was given a ticket instead of arrested.

No wonder you voted for trump. You just don't think anything through, do you? That burger got the cops their confession and other info about his life. I will say without a doubt that I grew up in a far rougher neighborhood than you. I've had more dealings with cops than you. I know how to act to keep them from seeing me as a threat. I voted for Trump because a booming economy during the Reagan administration helped to turn my life around, and keep me out of trouble. The trickle down you all insist never happened kept me gainfully employed, furthered my education, and helped me get out of a dead end situation. Seems to me that the lot of you would rather live in a down economy and let the government give you something paltry than try and make it yourselves. I gave up hanging with my crew to better my life. I gave up smoking dope for a better job. I gave up drinking when I started having kids. I have lived a righteous life longer than I have a bad one. How many of you can say that?

How many of you can say that? most of us. and while its not a competition, i'd bet my life you didnt grow up how i grew up. and by the way, the cops didnt need to get a confession. he wouldve confessed regardless. it also ignores the fact that cops would've never done this for a black suspect. and thats why your entire post was more confirmation that you're about the most clueless dude ever. you literally told the board you're a scumbag who got out of crimes because you flashed that good ole white smile. crimes that 99% of minorities wouldn't have the PRIVILEGE to get out of. you voted for trump because he said the same racist crap you believe in: obama was a foreign born muslim and mexicans are murderers and rapist.you voted for trump cause you wanted a dumbass wall and hate muslims. stop pretending to vote for someone over noble causes. you've proven to be anything but.

LOL..........I know black guys who haven't got away w/walking down the street in a white neighborhood and this guy is talking about he got away w/things like B&E, drug use, and assault. Yep, that is a great argument to use when you are trying to tell people that racism isn't a problem.

EriK, your conversation with Swish triggered this reply but I'm not directing it at you in particular... But I have to ask:
Bigotry and criminal acts cloaked behind religion. WWJD?
I get so damned disgusted by people hiding their crap behind religion. I found God... God forgave me... I'm righteous now... GMAFB.
So let's say a pedophile molests just one kid, just one time. Then he feels so guilty he goes and finds God. Then he gets forgiven and lives the rest of his life 'righteously' until the day he dies. Is he still not a pedophile? Does he not deserve to be brought to justice? Did his new make believe friend change any of that or the crap he did?
I know y'all that are religious have a different view on this kind of thing, but this stuff blows my mind. How in the world can something as easy to access and apply as religion be a good reason to forgive hate or criminal acts? And what the hell does religion and being righteous have to do with rather you are a good man? I've know plenty of religious men who treat their wife and kids like crap. I've known them to cheat, steal, lie, betray, drink, fight, and commit crimes. And I'm not pointing to all people who are religious, just the wolves in sheeps clothing, and they are plentiful.
Bad men do good things just like good men do bad things. And I absolutely suspect anyone that feels the need to describe their life as righteous of being anything but...

One day while Jesus was teaching in the temple courts, Pharisees and teachers of the law brought in a woman who had been caught in the act of adultery. Forcing her to stand before all the people, they asked Jesus: "Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. In the Law, Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now, what do you say?"
"Let any of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her."
One by one, from oldest to youngest, the people slipped away quietly until Jesus and the woman were left alone.
"Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?"
She replied, "No one, sir."
"Then neither do I condemn you," stated Jesus. "Go now and leave your life of sin."
The story of the woman caught in adultery is a beautiful illustration of Jesus silencing his critics while graciously addressing a sinner in need of mercy. The poignant scene delivers a healing balm to anyone with a heart weighed down with guilt and shame. When Jesus forgave the woman, he did not excuse her sin or treat it lightly. Rather, he expected a change of heart--confession and repentance. In turn, he presented the woman with an opportunity to begin a new life.

So as long as nobody hits you with a stone, you're good to do whatever ... I know it's hard for a mind that believes in God to see just how stupid and irrational that sounds.

LMFAO, I'm wrong person to ask questions about YOUR god 40. With the hate I've seen in your posts, you need a priest to guide your religious views and questions, one that's not a child molester.
