I went to see them last night and all I can say is WOW! Hands down, best concert I have ever seen. Light show was incredible, music was great, and the female singers were hot. It lasted 3 hours and had a special appearance by Jon Anderson of Yes, he did one number.
If you get a chance, go see them.

Great show. They were in Cleveland the first weekend of December. I love it. That song they played from the new cd, Nightcastle. I can't wait for it.

Dimebag is rolling over in his grave right now knowing a Pantera fan wants to go see this crap. Come on they rock out to Christmas songs?? This like going to see the house band at Epcot center. These guys were a band called entourage that sucked so they decided to play some yuletide tunes and set off some fireworks. KING

Carol of the Bells is fantastic! Thats what got me into them. Exactly, if you are a true music enthusiast that enjoys talent regardless of what type of music it is you will love them. They even played a little Clapton...

These arent talented musicians. They are a gimmick with a great light show. Why couldnt they make it is a band without the laser spectacular light show?? These guys are like Britney SPears in her prime. Nice to look at and possibly even a entertaining show, but musical talent?? no!! KING

Apparently they are doing something right , they sell out constantly year after year.
Just because a band doesn't make it big does not mean they have no talent. I have seen many musicians in small venues that have plenty of talent. It takes luck and the right circumstances to get noticed. Plus you have to find your niche, and believe me they have.
One thing I do realize after reading your posts and reasoning (or lack of) on musicians is you have no clue what talent is.

Uh.....their tours sell out, and they sell a slew of albums.......on Christmas music alone! They've been around for a while now, so they've proven they're not just a flash in the pan. You can't see the lasers on the CD's, so that blows your gimmick theory out of the water. They are in such demand they have two separate tours going on at the same time. They are talented musicians that know how to present themselves.
Just because you don't care for their music doesn't mean they have no talent.

They were a band called Savatage, not entourage. Savatage made some amazing music. And they certainly didn't suck. I can see you listened to alot of Savatage's music to form that opinion.
Entourage... Hell, even my dad knew what band they were in before TSO.

If you like Trans-Siberian Orchestra, check out Savatage if you haven't already. I don't think you will be disappointed. They are more in a hard rock vein than TSO, but alot of the same elements in the music such as orchestration, choirs, etc...below is a list of albums by Savatage that I have and highly recommend to any TSO fan.
Hall of The Mountain King Gutter Ballet Streets: A Rock Opera Edge Of Thorns Handful Of Rain Dead Winter Dead (Christmas Eve: Sarajevo by TSO was orginally on this disc) Wake Of Magellan Poets and Madmen

You think TSO has no talent? LMAO. You can say that you don't like their type of music, but they are far from not having any talent.

I guess I must have just got done watching the show on HBO and Entourage was stuck in my head. Yeah I listened to some Savatage when I found out that is who the TSO formerly was . I think "amazing music" is a very far stretch. As far as the argument that they sell out their shows. Milli Vanilli used to also so does that make them "talented musicians"? Poeple really dont need to get all bent out of shape. First of all I was just kind of messing with Lee because I know he is a metal fan. Secondly its JMO that they suck. If that is different than someone elses then fine, that doesnt make me "wacky" as Jules stated. My opinion is they are a gimmick, they put on a entertaining show and people pay good money to go see that, nothing wrong with that., but to annoint them "amazing musicians" is kind if silly to me. So let the TSO love fest continue, ill pass. KING
