It' is a mistake to not give the Rb you are no doubt going to rely on for the next 10 weeks, barely any time in pre-season.

Agreed. Maybe they are really trying to figure out whether to go with Hilliard or D'Ernest as the #2 for the first half of the season and need two preseason games to do it? (Don't know if Hilliard is healthy tonight, come to think of it).
