Funny that Vers just said it’s weird that Brissett is sitting ... and, there is why

Heck, I thought it was because Luck was still hurt. Never dreamed he was retiring. This is crazy!

well, atleast luck made it to an AFC title match.

but i think its safe to say that overall 2012 QB class in the first round is a huge letdown.

Luck
RG3
Tannehil
Weeden

best QB out of the 2012 draft?

Russell Wilson

I'd welcome that.

I know I'm in the minority, but I thought he was overrated last year. Spent the whole year pushing the ball and showing very average arm strength. Still had a great season, but I wasn't sure how long he would be successful.

Having said that, I'm not trashing the guy and I think it's a loss for the NFL. My suspicion is this will not be permanent.

Only for two more years, right? I said after Ben retires.

Of course, it was mostly in jest.

Yep. He is very intelligent. Compassionate. Introspective. Has a very high character. Good disposition. Don't see many NFL guys w/all of those traits.

I've never seen a player on so many tv commercials, regardless of injury status, so I'm sure he's done alright financially. But yeah, this was unexpected. I think that win against USC is what catapulted him into an NFL darling.

he's ok but come on Vers, he isn't Luck.

I think his ability as a qb is what catapulted him to such status.

you mean other than the fact that he got to the playoffs his first three 3 seasons?

wild card
divisional round
AFC title game

the injuries were mainly due to him having an absolutely deplorable o line.

They simply beat him into the ground for his first few years, and his body couldn’t sustain it.

Regardless, a great talent and by all accounts a great person

we will see.

i'll say this. he's got a much better coach in Riech than what he had with pagano. so there's hope i suppose.

but i dont think its enough to win the division.

Yep.............and his toughness. I think he would have been better off blanking out instead of taking all those shots to make plays, but that is who the guy was. I have mad respect for Andrew Luck.

I still think the Colts win the division. But again, I could be way off.

Never saw this coming.

Never.

All that hits me is. He was the best I ever saw as a college player.

Thought him to be a can not miss guy.

Wow.

I’ve always thought that was one of the worst divisions each year; it’s totally up for grabs now

UrinatingTree was right. Colts : glue factory of the NFL.

They never got him OLine help. And they ruined him. Im..., Disappointed to see such a talent just get shredded as he did.

Colts lose Luck. Houston loses Miller and may not have Clowney.

Jags take the division?
