GAH! Adam Cimber comes in with a 1 run lead in the 7th and gives up an infield single and a triple to tie the game. Can't stand watching this guy pitch. Now the Twins have no outs and runners on 1st and 3rd. Nick Goody pitching.

Nice job, Cimber.

Indians take 2 of 3 from the Twins this weekend. Its probably not good enough - we needed to sweep - but we're 5-1/2 out in the AL Central with 3 games left against the Twins, and we're still in the race for the wild card.

Big win for the wild card though ... need to string some together now

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I wish I could have watched it ...... but Fox Sports (and STO) are in a big disagreement with Dish. However, I did get Dish to cut my monthly by $10 since I am not getting what I paid for.

Cookie gets the win in relief.

Lindor belts another HR.

Four back of the Twins. Should be a great series at home this weekend.

Brad Hand was sent back to Cleveland for an MRI on his elbow. It came back negative, but the Indians are planning to rest Hand for a couple games. Fingers crossed that he's available against the Twins this weekend because its a crucial series if they want to make the playoffs. IMO, we need to win at least 2 of 3 this weekend.

Betcha we see Carrasco in a closer situation pretty soon. His stuff is apparently really good - hitting 97 regularly. His command isn't quite where it should be just yet. Once Hand is back, I could see Carlos filling a role something like Andrew Miller did in '16, coming in at any time from the 6th inning to the last out, depending on the matchup(s) at that point in the game that Tito feels is pivotal.

It's too bad Rollie Fingers isn't the pitching coach. We could have: "Hand out with Elbow. Fingers shoulders blame."

Karinchak's fastball reportedly hits 100 MPH regularly, but his control is suspect. Hitters hate that.

Well ..... not good for the Tribe so far ......

Lost game 1: 0-2, and trailing game 2: 5-9 going to the 9th.

It's amazing that they hung in this long with all of the injuries.

Yeah, that’s a deal breaker yesterday ugh ... wild card is still a shot, albeit longer than it was 24 hours ago

Indeed. I mean just think about everything that has happened with injuries an trades and slumps..About the only thing I think Tito doesn't do well is manage relief pitchers, but at every single thing else the guy is a genius and the best manager we've ever had. Its just a shame we can't get holes fixed by the FO without creating others..life of a small market team

Not exactly the happy hunting ground here by the big water, eh? I was so excited for this season. Can we buy a new FO please? We have failed about every crucial gut check we created this year. Disappointing that.

Must be a fan. I am still interested.

Wahoo. Go Tribe!

I'm disappointed that they cut payroll by $20M in the middle of what I thought would be a limited window to contend, but I don't pin that on the front office. Its on the owner, IMO. Michael Brantley would have done wonders for this lineup if he had still been here (2 years / $32M).

So it goes ... little pink houses for you and me.

The Angels beat the Rays 6-4, which means the Indians are 1.5 games behind Tampa Bay in the AL Wild Card race
