Rookie Browns fan (please give me a chance I've lived Browns football for 2 years now) here that is a Lifelong OU Sooners fan and faithful follower of Baker Mayfield, which caused me switch my allegiance from the Cowboys to the Browns as of last years draft. (There is a lot of us out there, Baker is a force of Nature). Silently, followed the board since before the 2018 draft, but ready to communicate now!!

Anyways I thought it would be fun to make 5 predictions about the upcoming season (Hot takes welcome) as well as the final record for the Browns. Here are mine:

1. Chubb will be widely recognized as a top 3 back by the end of the year.
2. Seibert will both win and lose games for the Browns this year (trust me, he is a boom or bust player)
3. After this year no one will make a top 5 QB list without Mayfield in it.
4. OBJ will have 15 TD's this year, Baker can't resist the big play and I think Kitchens is of the same mind
5. Defense will lead the NFL in sacks

Regular Season Record 11-5 , North Champs, Eliminated by Chiefs in AFC Championship, because of field goal kicking. The Baker-Mahomes Rivalry Begins

Ask me on a day(weekend) when they didn't blow up the roster, imo, I'll have a more sane opinion.

Chubb will have 1500 combined yards
Denzel Ward will have at least 5 INT
Greedy Williams will start at least 8 games this year

1. OBJ underperforms (in relation to expectations) but the other players (Higgins, Njoku, Landry) all have good years. This will test OBJ’s maturity.

2. Sheldon RIchardson proves to be our most important pick up.

3. We end up with one All-Pro player: Myles Garrett

4. We realize pick #1 next year must be a OL (LT more specifically)

5. Final record: 9-7 ... just miss playoffs

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I think it'll be refreshing and interesting...unlike takes like mine and other Browns fans with unbelievable fan-scars from 20+ years of pain. Could be fun. rofl

I can take the ribbing, I got even more laughs from non-Browns fans when I said I was becoming a fan of a 1-32 team that drafted Manziel 2.0 as their franchise QB, according to the experts. So although I have not been around for long at least I can't be accused of being a band wagon fan. Thats right PTSD Browns fans a band wagon is coming this year to join all the sooners that came over last year!

Go Browns!!

1. Browns not only host a playoff game (by winning the AFC North) but win it.

2. Kareem Hunt's rushing yardage, if extrapolated to 16 games, will exceed 1,000 yards.

3. OBJ has a Pro Bowl Season - 1,250+ yards receiving and 14+ TDs. Even though we have a lot of other weapons, the fact that defenses have to account for them helps OBJ, as does the fact he has a much more accurate QB this season. And one not afraid to go downfield.

4. Garrett has 16+ sacks.

5. Our defense finishes in the top 8 in the NFL.

How does a league celebrating its 100th season only recognize the 53 most recent championships?

LOL, did not think that far. So ....

I think we finish as the #3 seed, so we do not get a bye. So we host the lower seeded wild card team. I'll guess Indy.

Haha yeah I got ya ... how about if we win the division, get a first round bye, host New England in the AFC Divisional game, then host Pittsburgh to go to the whole enchilada? Sounds good.

1) Browns go 10-5-1, the tie allows us to host our first playoff WIN since 1995

2) Baker Mayfield goes 4450 39/16 63.8%

3) OBJ: 1150 yards and matches his jersey number with 13 TD

4) Landry has a career day against his former team with 11-160 and 2 TD

5) Damarious Randall picks off Darnold, runs the ball over to the Jets sideline and hands it to Gregg Williams. Williams knocks it out of his hand which then prompts a Unsportsmanlike penalty against Randall. No sooner than Kitchens begins chewing him out - Baker connects with OBJ for a long TD and glares at the Jets sideline.

Yeah, some immature shenanigans along the way would not surprise me.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.
