Put Baker on the trade block.
Can Freddie.
Bring back Sashi and Hue.
Relegate Myles Garret to the practice squad.
Hire Eric Mangini as special offensive assistant.

This was the most undisciplined and unprepared Browns team I have ever seen. Absolute garbage.
At DT, context and meaning are a scarecrow kicking at moving goalposts.

We were in this game going into the 4th even with all those penalties.

18 penalties for 182 yards.
i repeat, 18 penalties for 182 yards. Almost 2 football fields. Mind blowing.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

18 penalties for 182 yards.
i repeat, 18 penalties for 182 yards. Four personal fouls which were totally preventable. Including our starting left tackle kicking a dude in the head.

Did they have more penalty yards than offensive yards? There were some bad calls, but not that many. Lost 2 LTs, one to stupidity, one to injury. Baker trues to force things in the 4th. These boys need to pull their heads out now.

That game was a punch in the gut. I thought Baker lost his confidence early on in the game when things started to go wrong. That look in his eyes wasn't there anymore (at least to me).
We deserve better. Hopefully things will change.

nah we still had more offensive yards, but basically it fell apart in the 4th.
the only call that anybody can really claim was straight up bad was the holding call on randall....in the 2nd quarter.
all the other calls against us were pretty much spot on.

at this point, there needs to be an official rule on this board that none of us are allowed to predict a winning record for the browns until they actually deliver a winning record.

I saw the bad Omen last night!!
I went to bed at 2:15 am.
At 2:30 am I heard my dog having an effing fit in the backyard.
So I put on my clothes, and my shoes and trudged out into the woods with my flashlight.
Well, the dogs had killed an Opossum.
And I thought...Oh No Rally Possum.
But then I thought maybe it would be Ok. Because my dawgs are straight up assasins.
And so I heaved the body over the fence.
But no. The Rally Possum died. And we sucked today.
And I had to sit next to a Titans fan at the bar.

All nonsense aside, this is clearly a coaching problem.
Coaches gonna be on the hot seat if they can't turn this ship.

This team was on the up last year. Should have kept Gregg Williams, I know some don't like him but he made this team walk the line. This team was an undisciplined slophole of a mess, not prepared at all. Fat Freddie is not ready, should have kept him at OC and Williams as HC. This is what we get when a guy goes from running back coach to head coach in less than a year. Defense burnt on a screen pass for a TD, no takeaways, out of position, terrible. Freddie looks like the next Hue Jackson, another fat man with a line of BS, players best friend, no discipline. No excuse for getting whipped this bad for the talent on this team.

This was the most undisciplined and underprepared Browns team I have ever seen. Absolute garbage. Oh I don't believe you, you've been posting on this board for a long time, I know you've seen many performances. If this team were the memory, of a ghost, of a horse, originally shot in 2006, buried at some forgotten, closed down racetrack, and dug up ceremonially time after time to reshoot, then, what was I saying. Here we go, moving on! Next Week! Lets GOO!!!

This humiliation may be the best thing that could have happened to this young team of hyped superstars.
Back down to earth boys, you aren't as good as you think you are and you will need to work twice as hard just to be good.

Absolute garbage. 17 penaties, 182 yrds, two ejections...lame. https://www.cleveland.com/browns/2019/09...e-it-worse.htmlFreddie Kitchens said all preseason that the Browns don’t practice penalties, ... Yes, Freddie, what do you think about that approach now?

Same ol' same ol'.
PATHETIC! Entire squad sucked an egg. Game was lost on 3rd and 1...PASS!??? DUR! Horrible play calling on that series. Refs kept the game out of reach... and the entire team kept taking more rope like it was a Duff's buffett.
Groundhog day gloom and doom already per usual. Loud mouth fans in the stands getting miced up for live tv. Embarrassing. Off season hype quashed in Browns fashion. How many games before the towels are thrown in this year? I am out of towels dammit!
It never ever changes... Fell for it again. I knew I should have gone outside today.
As usual I could Post this in post game thoughts and copy and paste for the next week. Hope I am wrong. But this fiasco IS WAY too familiar.
Einstein could not even fathom the mathematical improbabilities of the Browns woes.

18 penalties for 182 yards.
i repeat, 18 penalties for 182 yards. If that was on 18 attempts, it would be a GREAT passer rating! (108.8)

I mean like the non PI/hold/block in the back on the Henry td. that one was still hard because the o line had him legally engaged before he spun around, if i recall

I said in another thread that I was worried, I thought too many people were buying into the hype ... This was a game where we were favored, and got our heads handed to us on a platter ... now you see why I was not buying into it and made no season predictions. No more talk of the Isle .. No more "Freddie is ready"... not until the Browns win 3 in a row .. sometime in the 22nd century.
The Cleveland Browns - WE KNOW QUARTERBACKS ( Look at how many we've had ... )

Well, better to lose this one ugly than lose a close one.
A wake-up call is good this time of year, when you think about.
Those penalties are unacceptable, a lot of them were brain-cramps, undisciplined. Baker looked off at times, sailed a few, and it seemed the penalties kept us on our heels, shortened the playbook, killed any momentum we were able to build.
I thought our D was fine for the part, until the latter stages of the game.
You can't win with 18 penalties.

An honest question here: how did the interior of the line look? I watched the game and thought it was pretty solid, but would like some other opinions.

1. Same old Browns
2. Officiating still sucks.
It's supposed to be hard! If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard... is what makes it great!

The interior line was not nearly as bad as the edges in my opinion. Most of the penalties seemed like were on the tackles or blocking TEs.

Dorsey: IF he's a genius he will fix the line. Find some guys whose technique isnt holding. Kitchens: Opening day was bigger than himself. The snowball rolled downhill, gathered him in and rolled on. He looked helpless. He better learn quickly. Mayfield: He was humbled. He probably needed humbled. DC's now know him. Horrifying play by almost everyone.
