It almost looked painful to watch him throw ... especially those deep out patterns. He was like shot putting it or something without a follow through
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

That's definitely not the same Cam Newton, he was real off last night.

Plus, he ran two times for like 1 yard total? They had 4th and inches for the GAME and he was shifted out to the slot to be a decoy/blocker That's definitely not the same Cam Newton, he was real off last night.

Lets hope there is a little ying and yang - Thursday night and Monday night bookend games are polar opposites! And Cleveland (and Jets) are more impressive. I'd say Cam is done. I can't see him getting much better and take away his running and he is a below average QB. (I was never a fan - so I thought he was below average before - just an immense athletic freak)
The more things change the more they stay the same.

A few thoughts:
--There was a lot of talk about officiating after our game on this board, but last night's game was truly one of the worst officiated games I have ever seen. The spot that gave Carolina was so bad that it actually seemed like comedy. Buck and Aikman actually were giggling because it was so absurd. That play exemplified a night of utter failure from the officials.
--I agree w/most that Cam was pathetic. His accuracy was never a strong suit and it was horrendous last night.
--I sense that Cam is somewhat jealous of McCaffrey. Dude was wide open coming out of the backfield on numerous occasions and Cam ignored him.
--Arians had a rough game. So did Leftwich.
--Both teams were so sloppy. I'm telling you, most of the NFL games outside of a few, have been poorly played this year. Teams are laying eggs. Something has to change in regards to how the NFL deal w/preseason.

That was surprising to me too, although it obviously didn’t matter much in the end
In terms of Rivera’s challenge of the PI non-call .. IMO, the ball was in the air and it should have been overturned

j/c: I feel he may be thinking about his career after football. I could see him dressing in drag for his first movie and hiring a white guy to drive him around. The title of the movie would be "Driving Miss Crazy".
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

That has to be your best post ever.
What the hell is Cam thinking? What is that scarf thing?
Anyone notice all the teams not focusing on football are losing including our squad.
Geesh.

Debating if I should watch the patriots- dolphins game or the seahawks- Steelers game.

I plan to watch the Colts vs Titans game early while I DVR the Steelers game. A lot of people seemed to be trying to say the Colts would still be a good team and compete for their division. I predicted the Titans would win that division after Luck bailed on them. I mean today's game won't tell that tale but it should be a good indicator. To me, the Patriots vs Dolphins game will be such a blow out it won't be worth watching. I mean I watched OSU yesterday. One blow out game a week is pretty much my limit.

I still got the Texans winning the division since they won it last year.
I actually want to watch the titans game but it won’t be playing up here.
It should be a blowout, but The dolphins always seem to pull craziness against the patriots in Miami. And I want to see what AB looks like since she’s playing today.

A lot of negative talk about our OL on this board. Watch Tampa Bay's tonight. LOL Unfortunately it doesn't make our OL better. I think our OL is Average at best its not close to the worst and its not close to the best. But we don't have any depth which we learned last week.
to anyone: I didn't get to watch the game...was so bummed I forgot about Thursday nite football....it was about 11 and my wife asked if I taped it...I totally forgot about it...WHO WON?
I'll read further as my questions might be answered...
Nope but I see it was a close game and a win for Tampa, happy for Ariens like him a lot.
As for Cam, his shoulder is injured which strongly effects his game passing and running. Probably should not play.
A lot of old refs I think retired they were pretty good most of them. These new guys, talk about the game being to fast for players, its too fast for the refs. Spotting, I remember the female ref is terrible. But the system for spotting is the worst. You have refs make guesses as they are behind the action and Assume the spot not knowing it 100%.

I took the Steelers -3.5 and feel fairly comfortable with it, but we’ll see

So I joined my first ever fantasy football league this year with some people at work. I was bummed because I got locked out just before our draft and had an auto-draft and ended up with Lamar for my QB. I wasn't too excited about that because I thought his success last year was too one dimensional and wouldn't be sustainable.
Um.. he netted me about 45 points last week LOL and he's taking care of me so far today. I think I'll ride that pony for awhile.

Feet don't seem to hurt anymore, the helmet seems to fit, and Twitter seems quiet.
Anyone surprised Brown is killing it with the patriots?

QB Ben Roethlisberger, who has been shaking his throwing arm at various points during the first half, has gone to the locker room. Mason Rudolph is the backup. https://twitter.com/TomPelissero/status/1173301962147880960

Bengals defense is trash. Alomg with bad tackling they're getting man handled at the line of scrimmage.
