I think Simein <whatever, gives them a better chance to win than Darnold.
I don't think there will be "any" "easy" MNF games for the Browns who don't get on MNF very often, they will all be very demanding,
Very tough game coming up tomorrow night.
Browns are going to need All of their focus, and a couple breaks to go their way too.
Db's I thought, yeah, Burnett, I'd have Burnett as the hybrid LB/Shallow safety.
Deep safties, I'd put Ward and Mitchell back there and Put Greedy TJ Carrie, and Sheldrick Redwine as my 3 cover corners, I know that's 6, and you can do whatever roaming you want with Whitehead.
I hope Genard Avery can play this week.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.
I agree ... 0-2 is close to insurmountable given our early schedule. We HAD to at least get one of our first 2. Rams, Ravens, 49ers, Seahawks, Patriots .. yikes
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I more than half expect this to be one of those really bad games where two teams try their hardest to give the game to the other team, but nobody really wants it.
Monday Night Cripple Fight
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.
Well, they set the bar really low last week. I didn't think the team would be all dialed in at the beginning of the season, so normally I just want them to be playing better and better over the weeks....
but we really need a win. After tonight, the schedule looks much tougher. We have the Rams, Ravens, SF, Seattle, and Patriots (in roughly that order). The Ravens and SF could be the easier games, and those teams are hot right now. Not having even a single win while grinding through that lineup of opponents could really hurt in building momentum and team cohesiveness.
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

I'm not terribly worried about the Ravens or 49ers. Maybe not even Seattle.
Ravens and 49ers have both played two really bad teams. Seattle nearly lost to a Steelers team without Ben or Conner and only squeaked past the Bengals by one point.
The Pats and Rams, however, will be a significant challenge.

Looking at our schedule, getting to the bye at 3-3 would be a huge success IMO
At NYJ LAR At BAL At SF SEA
Can we win 3 of those 5? Yikes

Chris Smith in statement says he’ll play Jets on MNF after his girlfriend died last week: “I am going to play tonight because it is something, she would want me to do. She would want me to keep doing what I love and stay strong. I play for her tonight. She is my why.”
I hope Smith has a few good plays! Tough situation for him sadly

We win and I could see us gain some momentum into next week vs. the Rams and then the Ravens. I could see us getting to 3-1 or more than likely 2-2.
If we lose this game, 0-4 looks very realistic.
I am not concerned about the Rams at all.
IF we win tonight.
If so, I think we take down the Rams and go to 2-1.
Whatever you're smoking dude, it's puff puff pass... The was we are playing tonight we MIGHT win, but the Rams are going to pummel us. The D looks alright but the O is really struggling with the new Air-raid offense. This is NOT how we played O last year.
Please, let tell the truth.. Baker is playing like crap. He will not take the short throw even when its wide open. The line is giving him time but he wants to throw for big chunks. HE IS SCREWING UP!!
I still have to wonder if that wrist is still bothering him?
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

It was cool to see us under the lights and the marquee discussion point .. I think our team still isn’t comfortable in this position or with each other yet. But, the hope is that last night took some pressure off the team (and OBJ’s big play loosened up the O)
