definitely dont like our chances if randall cant suit up.
we dont have the secondary to stop kupp and cooks.

Randall and Njoku would be really nice to have ... almost mandatory to have for this game. I was hoping that we were playing it more safe than anything by holding them out against the Jets
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Higgins not listed. That's good.
Certainly need Randall back.

Yes, I understand that. Thanks.

Hubbard is in a walking boot.
According to the official website's depth chart there is no second string RT.
Lamm is listed as second string LT. Have not seen if he is still injured.
We have a guy named Paul Adams on the practice squad who is a undrafted free agent and was with the Giants before being cut.
This is something that has been a concern IMO for a long time. Our starting tackles are not considered to be even average. Our depth at the position can not considered better than the starters.
So one of the guards will have to play tackle if Hubbard is out.
There are few options available. But something needs to be done. Not sure what?
Dorsey has to find someone. I have wanted Trent Williams but have no idea what will happen with him. Washington is not talking. Williams is not showing up. There are other teams like the 49ers and others who are in need.
This is a real problem. We lose another guy from the OL to injury and we are in big trouble.

How "Browns" will it be to have Pharoh Brown lining up at a RT Sunday. . . . .

When Hubbard moved to LT in week one.
McCray went in to play RT.
Justin McCray was benched in Week 1 after single handedly allowing four pressures, a hit and one sack.
The Rams will take notice.

Our OT situation leaves a lot to be desired ... and most of us know Hubbard is below average at best .... but NOT having him and it’s a trainwreck waiting to happen

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

Oof. Our tight end depth was already shaky. Rico Gathers is still a free agent.

We need to trade for a TE. When in doubt look at the Dolphins roster. Mike Gesicki is a super athletic guy who has done next to nothing in the league (he’s in his second year). He was drafted in the second round in 2018 so my guess is that the compensation they would want back would be pretty high. Nick O’Leary is a versatile player who has played fullback and special teams. He hasn’t done much as a receiver in his career. We could probably get him for very little.

The worst part of that play was that he was wide open early. Baker decided to not throw it to him. He then looked downfield and began to scramble to the right and then threw it very late to Njoku as pressure was finally getting to him and when Njoku was covered. These are the kinds of mental mistakes that need to be reduced.

After Njoku our tight ends SUCK!
Is Hubbard out? And for that matter, Njoku isn't all that good. We might be better off with him out and just going with the blocking guys. Get a back in to the passing gameplan.

Speaking of a trade, there's some back up TEs I'd be interested in. Might cost us a 4th, 5th, or 6th round pick next year, but we need a pass catching TE now.
Ben Watson (NE) (suspended until week 5) Jack Doyle (Indy) Jonnu Smith (Tenn) Jeff Heuerman (Den) (yes, I'm a Buckeye honk) Dallas Goedert (Phil) Jesse James (Det) Cameron Brate (TB)

Brate is a possibility I think ... Goddert and Doyle probably not

Aaron Donald was limited in practice due to a back injury. sounds like he’s on track to play then ... that’s unfortunate for us haha
