Chubb looked so freaking fast on that TD

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I am glad the Browns drafted him. He is everything you want in a back.

There will be no playoffs. Can’t play with who we have out there and compounding it with garbage playcalling and worse execution. We don’t have good skill players on offense period. Browns 20 - Bears 17.

I thought it was Earl Thomas he toasted live. 29 didn't want any of that smoke.

And Earl was the one talking smack ... and then he quit on the play in the dust

Glad this classy young man had such an outstanding day. I said earlier on the thread that I did not see him leaving yards on the field. He's a quality back and maybe an even better person.

1. I love these NextGen animations. They show a ton of information that is hard to digest in real time.

2. Nick Chubb made Earl Thomas look like a defensive linemen on that run play.

I agree.

We may be driving through Georgia next summer. I'm thinking of going through Chubbtown.

I think the analytics site will be more favorable this week.

Maybe it's just his stride but when you watch him run... he looks like he'd be a slow runner. He's got that Gale Sayer's stride where it's just really long.

But then you realize that he just ran past everyone with tremendous ease.. and somehow turned on the afterburners leaving everyone in the dust.

I think a player said it, but Chubb’s so powerful ... look at his freaking thighs. He’s tough to bring down, but can generate so much speed too. He’s like the perfect RB build, athleticism, etc

I think that yesterday in our game, Chubb was better than Zeke. Hats off to the offense.
Winning is fun! nanner Let's do it again soon.

In terms of Zeke, the Cowboys rush O has been off thus far ... it seems they’ve become more pass happy and don’t have their rhythm down yet

Gale Sayers???? Jamal Lewis is my take. Big, strong back with better shiftiness and both had really deceptive speed when they break through.

I don't know if you guys are old enough to remember these dudes, but Chubb reminds me a lot of Shaun Alexander. He also reminds me a bit of Chuck Muncie and George Rodgers.

A Seahawk, Charger, and Redskin, IIRC.

All great RBs.

Very good.

Alexander w/the Seahawks and briefly w/the 'Skins.

Muncie w/the Chargers and Saints.

Rodgers w/the 'Skins and Saints.

Also, do you remember Chuck Foreman w/the Vikings?

Chubb has some the good qualities and style of all those guys.

It's hard to look explosive when he hardly gets the ball!

Nick Chubb is T-2nd in the NFL in rushing attempts behind only Christian McCaffrey... He's averaging just shy of 20 touches a game...

Looking at just Browns RB I see a mixture of Kevin Mack and Leroy Kelly ...

Yes. And as he was 5 yards, 10 yards, 15 yards and more in front of the nearest defensive player, notice the ball. High and tight.

Chubb is like our Jamal Lewis...i'd argue we don't even need Kareem Hunt, Chubb is better than him...We need to ensure Chubb gets 25 carries a game. Chubb is so strong and powerful, he is fast enough to elude, but strong enough to run you over...He is never tackled by one guy, he is always breaking tackles...He is our franchise back, He is our guy.

Hunt when he comes back should only be used to give Chubb a rest every now and then, Chubb is our Jamal Lewis, get gotta ride this guy to a ring.

George Rodgers with a little shorter stride and a tad bit more speed. That is a great comparison. Dude was a workhorse too - it becomes more evident with every game that Chubb is exactly that.
When we get down to the nitty-gritty, late in the season, we'll start to see just how valuable it is to have a back that can just wear down defenses and make them quit. Hell, we're seeing that already.

Showboating is not in his nature. No taunting, now "look at me" celebrations, just take a moment to celebrate with teammates before getting back to work.
