I don't think the Patriots are as good as they appear.
I don't think we are as bad as we appear.
I still think the Patriots are better.
Turnovers will continue to hurt as at the wrong time.

These numbers by the Patriots are beyond historic. There's bound to be a correction sooner or later. Hopefully we're well prepared and are not intimidated. Baker needs to play a clean game. Numbers aside, last week was his best, despite the TOs. But make no mistake, that won't fly in New England.
Play Patriot's ball -- take away what they do best. Shut down Edelman and exploit their aggressiveness in the short passing game.
Couple of big plays make all the difference as OBJ shines...

Everything points to a loss... NE is the better team.
BUT:
- The Browns are coming off the bye week healthy facing NE on a short week for them.
- We have played much better on the road this year.
- We are due an upset game in our favor and have upset NE before.
- Our coaches and players want this one more as NE is sitting pretty and can take a loss or two while still controlling their own destiny and staying on top in the AFC.
- NE is undefeated leading not just their division but the AFC and the league too. That is a hard position to maintain.
I think we sneak a win here.
24-23 Browns.

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Browns lead the series.... 518 / 507. I would love to see an upset.... once I thought it would be a winnable game...now it's that normal...unnormal feel....

The crazy part is that the Browns have won 532 games in their history and the Patriots have won 539. I am including their complete records from different leagues. So, the numbers you posted aren't far off in regards to overall wins. LOL

Browns 10
Blowing that game to Seattle killed our chances at the playoffs. The ravens will beat Pittsburg...they will be 6-2 and we will be 2-5. No way we close that gap.

The Patriots aren't really built to blow out teams. Sure, they will when you don't show up, but really, they are built to just hang in there and chip away at your defense.
I just can't see Baker and this offense beating a Belichick defense. I can't see our defense just turning this into a 17-13 slopfest. We're going to need to put up a lot of points, and I don't think we are quite there yet.
But I would really be forcing the issue with Chubb. Try and get a flow going, and also chew up clock and shorten this game.
I do like the 13.5 we're getting, but overall I don't think we will win

Don't see how we even come close to getting going against them..they will take chubb away and force baker to throw..i could easily see 3 more picks this game, and on offense, no way wilks has a clue how to stop that offense.. 31-6 final

The weather forecast is 90% rain, temp 56.
The weather could really alter this game. Obviously turnovers. Depending on how quickly the field changes once the tarp is off. This could turn this game around.
Given the forecast both teams will need to factor the weather into game plans.
Actual game conditions will alter play calling.
When you see this type of forecast of 90% rain playing outdoors it changes the game.
In some ways I see an advantage for us. In others it favors the Pats. They are home. Brady and Belichick have loads of experience in bad weather games. They know how to prepare for it.
The Browns may have an edge in the run game. But what I like is Odell and Jarvis in the short game with yac yards.
Our receivers including Callaway are all explosive with the ball in hand. They will be huge threats in space.
I like the Browns. 17-14.

Got a feeling this will be like that game back in 2013, where we were upsetting the Pats in Foxboro all game, then they came back and took the lead with that BS pass interference call at the end Meaning that we will have a lead and then we snatch defeat from the jaws of victory

I had a dream back in May that we beat the Patriots 44-7 in this game.
It would be great if that could be more than just a dream.

Also who has NE really played??? We said the same thing about SF and were schooled. That said, I hear you and we need to capitalize on this and be aggressive, focused and unrelentless io our pressure on Brady.

The Browns "RUN ROUGHSHOD" over the hapless Pats.
Mayfield.........23 of 32 for 322yds, 2 tds.
Chubb............26 Carrie's for 144yds, 2 tds.
Landry...........7rec, 97yds, 1 td.
Beckham..........9 rec, 122yds, 1td.
Run roughshod......To completely ignore the opinions, rights, or feelings of others He achieved success by ruthlessly running roughshod over anyone who got in his way.
Let this sink in..... On 12-31-23 it be will 123123. On the flip side, you can tune a piano but you can't tune-a-fish.

We flash some improvement in spots, OBJ comes through somewhat. Penalties and lousy tackling doom us late. NFL wants undefeateds.

I would be utterly shocked if we get blown out. Moreso than the first game against the Titans.
Patriots last played 6 days ago. We last played 2 weeks ago. That's a big difference even if we are away.
The biggest fallacy in this sport is that many assume what was is what will be.
I remember like 4 weeks ago we were headed to Baltimore and everyone thought we were going to get killed.
Im going to stand by my thoughts fron that game. A close game or we win handily.
I'll say...
Browns 27 Patriots 16

This will a be a low scoring game due to the weather.
100% chance of rain during the game with 20+ MPH wind.
Ball security and a sound running game IMO will be the determining factor.
I have no idea what the final will be I hope its the Browns, but these weather games can go sideways quickly.
