I really believe that Bill Belichick, with the exact same roster that we have now, would have us with at least a 6-2 record. How do some you feel about that opinion? He has the same problem that we have; a mediocre O-line.

He has the same problem that we have; a mediocre O-line. I don't think that is a fair question. Comparing a rookie HC with arguably the greatest HC of all time. I think the root of the question is a good one though. The comparisons should be what would the the Browns record be if Zac Taylor or Brian Flores were head coach. Also reasonable to ask about mid-level coaches like Jason Garrett. I think asking about about our record if Todd Monkin was HC is an interesting question as it seems that he ended up 2nd in the coaching search. I also think it would be interesting to ask about Bruce Arians as he was my top choice. Problem is, whatever answer we come up with is just supposition emanating from our own biases.

This team doesn’t have the maturity to be anything above a sub .500 team this year. If they can’t prepare and maintain discipline for the tougher games, why would anyone believe they aren’t going to overlook the “easy” games? Because our team shoots itself in the foot and we are gaurunteed to do something stupid every week, these easy teams are going to look at us as a winnable game that could turn their season around.
If you guys haven’t noticed the Browns ARE the easy game

Maybe he did after watching that Browns game against the titans.

Well whoever did kill him probably is a Browns fan. It takes a lot of anger and frustration to strangulate someone.
Seriously though, this team still has not bought in to the fact that they have enough talent to have beaten pretty much everyone so far. If they don’t recognize that and they don’t prepare with that in belief in mind, why would they take their jobs more seriously against what they are told should be a lesser opponent? Right now this team is on a track to more likely give up than push forward and succeed.

We have to win three in a row now. We have an easier schedule. This is when we need to put up or shut up, and that's the bottom line.

still has not bought in to the fact that they have enough talent to have beaten pretty much everyone so far. I'd say that they've completely, and overly, bought into the notion that they have enough talent, but they have NOT at all bought into the notion that they still have to Pay Attention to Detail, Do Work, and Stay Focused on Doing their Job 100% on 100% of the Snaps. They have the talent, by far, but they're losing these games between their ears.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

This week is the first time this season we will play two weeks in a row at the same start time...although at 4:25...and both on the road.
We won't play at the same start time two weeks in a row again until the last two weeks of the season. That will be the FIRST and only time this year we will play back-to-back weeks with a 1:00pm Sunday start time...and I could see the Ravens game being flexed if it will matter.
Not a good thing for an inexperienced team with new coaches and systems.

Our next 4 games:
Bills Steelers Dolphins Steelers
I’m going to be really honest here. I can absolutely see Ryan Pickspatrick going nuclear against our defense.
I certainly hope we can win these games, but now there’s a good chance we lose these next 4.

Ryan Fitzpatrick will carve us up and that’s not hyperbole.
This is already ugly, but can you imagine if we lose to Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Miami, PIttsburgh??

The only thing on the schedule I want to see is when we make a change at HC. Freddie is a nice guy. He is NOT a leader. We need a leader and we need discipline. Period.
After 55 years, I'm walking away from this dumpster fire. Good luck to everyone who continues to hang on. You'll need it.

Well said ... FK isn’t a leader at all. The team is worried about fashion, beards, social media, commercials, etc ... and not on the task at hand. How can I tell? Because the task at hand has gotten away from us

I’m going to step off the ledge for a minute here.
Maybe, just maybe Kareem gives us a much needed kick, and we rip off some wins.
Who knows, maybe we can make a run.

Who knows, maybe we can make a run. come on man, you know exactly how that's gonna go right? Hes going to come in, be confused - gather a few penalties, while the coaching staff struggles to implement him in the offense. They have had 8 weeks to implement the guys they have now and cant do it. How the heck are they going to add another lol.

Who knows, maybe we can make a run. Too late...6 losses won't get you into the playoffs. I have little to no interest in the rest of the season because of that. And I'm not into moral victories. As it stands today, 8 games into the 2019 season, you can already state it was an unmitigated disaster. We just needed two guys to be good at their jobs, Baker and Freddie. Instead they were stubborn, egotistical, and put themselves before the team. That's where we're at.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

Don't get me wrong. I appreciate the attempted positivity.
1. Freddie's playcalling/design
2. Baker's regression (making reads, accuracy/consistency, decision-making)
3. Team Discipline
4. Freddie's game management/decision making
5. Defense giving up 2 (+/-1) fluke TDs per game when they should be smothering offenses
Which of our top5 problems does Kareem Hunt help solve?

It's convenient to everything and has the best schools around. Was also the half-way point between my business and my wife's job at GM. Alas, business is sold and GM has shipped us to St Louis (Champion is still home though).

I don't see us winning more than 5 games to be honest, but actually mathematically your wrong. we could go 10-6 still, which would be enough.
Balt at 6-2 has Cincy W, Texans (possible) L, Rams (possible) L, 49ers (possible) L, Bills (possible) L, Jets W, Us, and Pitts.
Lets say the beat Cincy, Jets, and Pitts. That gives them 9-7, and we win out 10-6.
There is still a path.
Now, they just manhandled the Patriots, and we lost to the Broncos with a guy throwing his first ever pass - but hey, "you telling me theres a chance!!!...…"

Which of our top5 problems does Kareem Hunt help solve? To play devils advocate (as I agree with you), 1. I think if he comes in and him and Chubb can run the ball and work as a unit, maybe Freddie changes his playcalling to suit those two. Doubt it, but ANYTHING is possible. 2. If we are running the ball 35 times, and beating down on teams physically with the ball, maybe less is taken off Baker to win a game. Helping his regression. Doubt it, but ANYTHING is possible 3. Discipline and Kareem Hunt - Im not even going to try. 4. Maybe if we have Chubb and Hunt in the backfield at the same time, some of the idiotic management decisions wont be given a chance, as we will be up and bleeding the clock, instead of trying to overcome it. Doubt it, but ANYTHING is possible 5. Maybe the defense will be well rested and more focused since we wouldn't be going to the sidelines as often, as the 1-2 punch of the KH and NC will give them added rest, and allow them to play a little "looser" knowing they can rely on the offense. Doubt it, but ANYTHING is possible. Nah, none of that is possible

Who knows, maybe we can make a run. Maybe, get a couple dump off screens that he takes for big yardage and sparks something.. who knows. Right now I'm convinced that the other team is secondary. Our biggest opponent is ourselves. We are so much wrapped up in our own heads, worried about making mistakes, worried good things will get undone, worried about doing too much, worried about whether other people are doing their job... I think that cycle is exactly what bringing Baker in broke in this team last year but this year, he seems to be a big reason we are back to thinking like that and not just making plays and having fun...
