LOL, I didnt mean to bring up the same thing you just said in regards to Baxter. I was replying after reading half of you post. I did think about that though when I was writing the first post you responded to.

I was pretty much saying how Crennel is viewed in the media. About roster spots or personnel decisions, and thats why the general public might think that Crennel calls more of the shots then he really does. He is more of a face for the team.

Im not sure how true this is but I did hear how Romeo and Savage disagreed on certain assistant coaching decisions. I think it was the OC selection process of this season and last. We all know about Carthon, but I think Romeo wanted Daniels(his boy from NE) over Chud.

Oh heck,, I knew that,,, not a biggie,,

As for Chud vs Daniels,, I wasn't aware of that.. but if you are getting your info from the media, don't discount the thought that a reporter would bring that up for no other reason than to start contreversy,,, They love it when they can do that and start converstions..

I remember a story about Lyndon Baines Johnson when he was running for office,, he wanted to get reports out that his opponent had slept iwth Barn Animals.. one of Johnsons aids said that we don't have any proof of that, and Johnson replied,, I know, I just want to see him deny it

get my drift?

I think you've got it right...but you've got to admit that:

It is weird when the word comes out that PS basically forced RAC to can Mo;

Word is that RAC preferred Frye when the other coaches preferred DA and after a "meeting" Frye was gone;

And the numerous times we hear PS tell us who is the starter.

There are certainly more examples and certainly the possibility that the "word" or "scoop" is absolute BS...but what we see/hear of the relationship and responsibilities between RAC and PS sure leaves a lot of room for speculation.

Mo needed to go, and I think that, eventually, even RAC had to admit that. As to Frye... RAC likes experience. The offensive coaches like Anderson's height and arm. I don't know if Romeo was telling Chud to play Frye or not. All I know is that Frye didn't last 1 half of football once the 2007 season started. Then he was gone....

I don't think that Savage names the starter, but he is definitely not a low profile GM.... I do agree though, there is a lot of room for speculation in the Phil/Romeo relationship....

Of course I'm not there to know 100% but I think I have a pretty clear picture on things.

RAC n Savage meet quite often in regards to personnel. RAC I'm sure has his input and Savage makes the final moves as in who to cut and keep. But I'm sure if RAC wanted him badly enough Savage would comply.

Thanks for the information even though I already knew that.

Ddubia, what I said was more in jest, but if you wanna get mad about it I think thats silly. Your telling me it's ok to have a stance on one point but when it comes to the coin flip, now again I get questioned? Unbelievable, anyways, I thought I would let you know that if I want to talk about the coin flip in seriousness or in jest I will. Neither makes me what you want or think about me.
